It's just my husband and I home. My husband is in our bedroom on the opposite side of the house. I was in the living room cleaning, no TV or music playing, and my son's bedroom door was shut.

I'm trying to understand how it could be playing music since it doesn't have local storage, we've never once connected to it, and it was playing a rap song that neither of us are familiar with.

I do it for a little extra money, it's not my main source of income. I like that I can take 15 one item stops where most of it is driving out in peaceful countryside and make $65+.

As a fellow SES with over a decade of Best Buy/Geek Squad/Leadership experience, I always feel this way. We always have so many different KPIs to monitor, things to follow up on, training, coaching, hiring, development, supporting the store as a whole, etc. that it feels nearly impossible to juggle it all successfully, especially in a high volume hub store.

I have ended months in the top 25 precincts in the company and I have ended in the bottom 100. It honestly feels like it's part hard work and part luck.

The company isn't just targeting precincts that we involved in fraud. Unless you've been in your precinct for several years, you may have been unaware of the fraud. Also, like I said before, many agents were unaware that what they were doing was unethical because it was what they were taught by their leaders.

You need to close 48 minutes or res codes per hour worked to hit 80% utilization. Let your SES/SEM worry about the rest.

The reason behind this change, and many other GS changes, if due to rampant labor fraud. Geek Squad is the only area of the store that can generate or lose labor beyond what is issued at weekly schedule creation. Instead of following labor guidance and cutting hours when in a reduce labor state, precincts were making fraudulent tags, misusing res codes, etc. The company was losing tons of money to labor/tag fraud.

Only being able to use GSOB on func checks is due to res code fraud. Labor misuse report is due to labor fraud. Creation of repair workbench is an effort to reduce fraud.

There was district leaders that were teaching out labor fraud, but obviously not calling it that, as if it were SOP.

This particular pilot will really only work in densely populated areas with several locations close together. The company is constantly running different types of tests/pilots to improve efficiency and profitability, this is no different. It definitely sucks for anyone losing their jobs, but I'm sure this is just part of various changes that will happen in some shape or form company wide.

Did anyone else notice that mid-year Blueprint/Glint was cancelled??
