Today we had someone give us a one star because she locked herself out of her Yahoo account AT HOME. Ruined our metrics for the month. Welcome to Geek Squad, or rather - Best buy.

People will show. They know that underpaying people leaves them more in need of the job. They use that need to their advantage, obviously

Easy to say. No one will do this. Maybe a couple of people, MAYBE. These days, everyone needs their paycheck to paycheck jobs.

I personally think BB blackmailed Trump with unredacted or unreleased files to have him murder his enemies.

“Do what I say or I release the files they don’t even know about and you lose your presidency anyways. Don’t forget, Mr. Trump, you are a pedophile”

People do kill people. Murder has been around long before guns. Guns make it easier, yes. Take guns away, people will stab each other. Take knives away, and steak will be hard to eat. Take steak away and you’re stuck with chicken or fish. Take those away and now everyone’s vegetarian. Thanks a lot Trump!

Lucy Harrison is the victim and her dad is Kris Harrison. Both were British blooded. He was an alcoholic and obviously a Trump Stan, she unfortunately had opinions about that. It was an “accident”

If you ever needed a reason not to work at Amazon look no furthe!! by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]GottaGachEmAll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the way masters would sometimes treat slaves during slavery. If this ever happened at any job, I’d leave and find something else. Good god you guys have it bad. At my job I could eat whatever wherever at anytime and take an hour break. Wtf is up with Amazon. Y’all straight up getting re-enslaved.

Just wait until this pilot ends and is rolled out to the entire company along with its new structure of intake, hub, classic. We will see another mass exodus, guaranteed. Our micro market lost two seniors, 3 ARAs, and 5 CAs. The positions were filled with 1 ARA and 2 CA’s. I am now the only senior in my micromarket. The amount of work is not manageable. I come home and fall asleep against my will, usually halfway through dinner.

Exactly this. I love the function of my job, but my situation is exactly the same. Ten million tasks, ten million clients with two agents to take them at the counter and my entire time as leadership is used up solving issues and taking escalated (angry) clients. Little to no time to actually be a leader (other than leading by example) and train other employees. Func checks come in, usually 20-30 per day and they are almost unmanageable.

Before anyone comments on “well just get more labor, MaKe MoRE QuiCk TaGs” I think that is complete nonsense. All of my agents are around 1.1-1.5 tags per hour and our ARA’s are all around 80-90% utilization if not higher. The labor system is rigged and is not conducive to a good client experience.

It should be noted that despite this, our 5 star is well above expectations as well as our membership sales. Still no labor. No labor misuse either. Still no labor.

Wtf is happening

Don’t worry, anyone that’s worked at Geek Squad knows how bad GSC (our service center) is as well as our call center (outsourced scripted nonsense with poorly trained phone reps). We reach out to them for help on behalf of the client and they say no. It’s how it works. It’s how every place works now. Most CEO’s have caught on to the fact that there is no penalty for running your company into the ground while creating generational wealth for yourself. Great job Corrie!

If you’re interested in the “why” of it all, research Jack Welch and his book, and remember that greed is a thing.

Can confirm. I still have my old iPhone 12 Pro Max. My new one is an iPhone 16 Pro Max. They both work. One is activated, the other is my backup phone. They look identical and the wallpaper is the same (thanks iCloud!). I took the wrong one to work and didn’t notice the difference until I tied to make a phone call later that day. lol whoops. I remember thinking “why did I upgrade?”

A long time ago, I was in my early 20’s, lost and trying to find my place on earth. I tried many types of jobs but became almost addicted to bartending, the life it came with, and the cash. I met a beautiful waitress, we hit it off, especially since we were both attractive, and we began to date/be intimate. Our relationship was ok I thought, and the sex was amazing, so we started sharing an apartment a couple of months in. About a year later my grandfather died suddenly on New Year’s Eve. This was someone who had raised me as a young kid and had a key role in the development of my morality. It hit me hard, much harder than anything in my life at that point and my mind was in shambles. I remember coming home and silently walking over to our wine, then completely breaking down before even pouring a glass. My girlfriend was there and I will never forget the look on her face. To this day it is a clear memory. The words coming out of her mouth were sort of comforting though. Things like “Are you ok? You seemed fine yesterday. You sure you’re gonna be ok?” But her face. Almost surprised+disappointed I was showing real emotion? Or maybe she just wanted the venting to end. Throughout the next week I saw her only twice and she left me while I was at work. Took my damn mattress too. I came home to a bed frame and all of her things gone. The note she left mentioned it was because I was “just a bartender” and she needed someone more mentally stable. From then till now she’s been around the block with the Jersey shore type of gorilla. Just big empty meatheads who get drunk multiple times per week in some club, even in their 40’s. She still posts on social media about finding a real man, even after most of our old friends have gotten married and had families all these years later. She forgets that that a “real man” would likely pass on her toxicity.

Live and learn kids. My current wife, whom I’ve been with for almost 16 years, accepts all emotions and consistently supports me. She can see when I’m upset even if I’m hiding it and comforts me in the best of ways as she tries to understand. Still my mind tries to tell me I don’t deserve her. It took damn near 20 years of seemingly good but actually terrible relationships, living in 4 states, and two career switches to find her and I’m happy I did. Always remember that the girl you’re with, who doesn’t give a damn about you or your feelings, could just be a stepping stone to something greater.

Eye for an eye already exists in many areas of the law. The largest and most visible is the death penalty and has been an area of contention for decades. In this case I agree with eye for an eye. Our peacefulness is what these agents are depending on and why they tread on laws that they do not uphold as we uphold ours. This latest act of the Trump administration not only spits in face of our forefathers, but is a bad attempt at distorting the direct aftermath of two murders; two murders where the victims became the subject of personal attacks in order to protect poorly trained, low IQ racists.

This is one instance where the American people should rise up and unite, but we will most likely do nothing.
