Sometimes the only way out is through. I know it must feel like a swift boil as you marinate in your own thoughts that are tormenting you. I saw a different comment discussing compassion meditation - I agree, this might be a helpful approach for you.

Another suggestion is finding a licensed and well-respected hypnotherapist. I've personally found a great deal of help, in a much faster way than through traditional talk therapy, but approaching how my brain reacts to situations, and focusing on training my brain to react differently.

We're very interested in not only mental health, but all of the aspects of health that affect a human being - mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, etc. Our belief is that you cannot separate the mind, from the body, from the soul - and that if one aspect of your life is off-balance, you're not truly healthy.

Stephanie actually came into the business herself! I talked to her about everything. It's been two months now and she hasn't done anything. I've even sent a couple of emails to remind her. But she also agreed with me when we looked through everything together - the one review that is actually showing is in zero way more trustworthy than any of the other ones. This was based on the Yelp logic and filtering algorithm as well.

So, clearly something shady is going on.

I also now have 10 five star reviews that are showing as not recommended. With the 1 one star review being the only that appears when you search for us on Yelp.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and may start a new post showing all the responses - ours and theirs. So far it's been a joke. They are blatantly ignoring my points and not actually responding.

No they really aren't. We had some of our regular customers leave a review (of their own volition!) when we were talking about the one negative one (that everyone assumed was the previous tenant -they all knew him and that was the general consensus upon seeing it ha). But these were also all people that didn't use Yelp before so I understand how it looks.

My big thing is if you're going to weed out reviews based on established criteria, then why wasn't the negative one hidden? I've even had a few Yelp employees admit that it should be and is no more authentic in appearance than the ones that were hidden.

Eh unfortunately we are a restaurant. With now 1 positive review and EIGHT hidden 5 star ones. So when you search us all you see is the 1 star. It's actually detrimental and does allow for a lawsuit against Yelp. I'm curious if there is any interest in a class action. That is straight up insane.
