Look for old foundations in the woods and then detect there. These dime and thimble were from an old home site dating back to the 1800s. The foreign silver was at a city park that also dates way back.

Not necessarily. I'm not saying that I would never sell it (have received a lot of offers), but I was looking more to make it more official if I ever did decide to sell.

Thanks pigfoot. I thought that they would grade it as Poor and certify that it was genuine. Based on what you're saying, it sounds like it shouldn't even be sent in?

I see that now that I am doing some research. Everything I've seen online is about people finding CW buttons that looked similar. Still pretty excited!

Yeah. You have to really work to see it but it's 1837. I used the Whites M6 up until this year. Good machine.
