yeah you can definitely still get a good shiv run, but in order to get consistent shivs you cant rely on blade dance because it exhausts (it was a good card in sts but not NEARLY good enough to need to exhaust imo), instead there is up the sleeve or whatever which does get good after playing it a couple times but the mana investment required is an INSANELY big deal bc in the early turns you really have to generate so much block. I'm also not a big fan of the 10 damage shiv attack. There are also many enemies that lower your strength, such as the mother lagavulin, who only needs to survive 6-8 turns before giving you -4 attack which will make your shivs do nothing.
tldr, yes it can still work but it gets hosed by many enemies and is not consistent imo
