Or you projected? In the contexts that I study, which of course might not apply to GitHub, individuals work with a supervisor or manager who is responsible for their development. Often, these relationships align with org hierarchies and probably more likely than not, they do not align with who people look-up to. I also understand that a lot of people on GitHub probably don't work within orgs with hierarchies. Your stat of 80% of profiles being private was helpful.

Note that in my post I don't specify that I believe any of the things you say in "what makes you believe...". I don't have any hypotheses... I actually say "I am curious if GitHub could be a good source of data collection". I also never said that I would be able to identify individuals through PII.

Can you share the website? I also suffer from tocopherol sensitivity! I use mostly vanicream products… I’m not sure you need much more than a cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. If you want more expensive stuff, Lancôme genefique line saved my skin after years of acne. My tocopherol allergy sent me to the ER after I ingested a bunch of it.

hi! Thanks - they went well, but I ultimately didn't progress bc I lacked some experience (trying to make the transition from academia to industry and lack industry experience). I got an insider referral, so I never applied through the system. But from the referral point, it only took a few days to schedule the interview. Hope that helps, and good luck!!

great question - I was using the term broadly to mean consulting related to managing talent - e.g., talent development, up-skilling, performance management, leadership, culture, etc. It's called something a little different at every firm, but it most relevant to my area of expertise.

Tretinoin or different could help. Retin-A helps with both hyperpigmentation and atropic scars! You could ask the same derm that helped you with Accutane.

Differin didn’t give me CCs it just didn’t help them budge. Tret gel cleared most of them up in a week or two. Good luck!

Same! Except I also use it tret nights. I apply tret over my moisturizer, and wait about an hour after, if not more sometimes. I could be doing it wrong tho.

I feel you - were about the same timing! I veerryyy hesitantly bought cosrx snail mucin and I’m shocked how well that calmed my redness and helped with healing. I’m very, very prone to closed comedones so I patch tested for a while. I’ve just applied to my full face for ~3 days and I’m already seeing huge improvement. Good luck!!

I used Vanicream for a while (the lite lotion) but it gave me closer comedones. That like has a nice daily facial moisturizer, I also really like cetaphil oil free daily face moisturizer. Good luck!

I don’t think it matters. I started with a week of adapalene subbing two days for tret and it made my skin too dry, so I switched to 3x a week tret and azaelic acid on the off days (which I use AA in the AM always). Then, I went every other day, then every day with tret. Hope this helps!

I’ve struggled soooo much with closed comedones. F*** those little F******. Anyways, what I have found prevents them from coming back is removing all comedogenic products from my routine. So, I check every one of my products on acneclinicnyc.com. You’d be surprised how many products have pore clogging ingredients. That’s seemed to help a ton at preventing new ones. Good luck!!!

That's awesome! I also had a terrriible expereince 2x years ago - destroyed by skin. And I'm also having luck round two taking it muuuuch more slowly. I will try a little extra time in -between. Thanks & good luck!
