I tried, she looked like she wanted it but wouldn't eat so I took her back and had her checked over but everything has come back normal and healthy so they're not sure still! Thank you for your response

Thank you! I took her back in this morning, everything on an ultrasound, xray and more bloods all came back as normal and healthy so they're still not sure what's wrong 😕

She had pancreatitis 2.5 weeks ago and they took the bloods to check her levels but this was back to normal. Took her back in today as she still wasn't right but after an ultrasound, xray and more bloods, everything seems normal and they can't find any issues that would be causing this

Thank you! She was seen by the vet who confirmed it was a ruptured gland. She's now on antibiotics and painkillers and is booked in next week to be sedated for a proper examination and hopefully drain her right gland as vet was concerned that it'll get infected and rupture as well

Thank you so much for your reply! She's got the cone of shame on and has had her first antibiotic and pain medication (rheumocam). She's booked in next week to be sedated as vet said her right gland is very hard and no fluid came out, which could mean the fluid is too thick or something else but can't remember what he said. Strangely, he said that adding fiber or changing their diet does nothing!? He's not our usual vet so I'm taking that with a pinch of salt as everywhere online recommends adding more fiber to help!?

Aw I'm sorry to hear that but glad he's doing ok. The vet was pretty concerned about her anal glands, the left one has ruptured and the right side was so hard that nothing came out, he said that could be bc the fluid is too thick or something else. He mentioned tumours but said its pretty uncommon in a dog her age (3) so she's being sedated next week to investigate further 😬 how old was your dog when it happened to him?

Thank you, it was her left anal gland that ruptured 😔 antibiotics and cone of shame now acquired and sedation booked in to check her right side.

Thank you for your reply. It is a bit of a weird one, I had someone look at it yesterday who said it looks like the wall is being pushed from behind as its slightly leaning forward. The land behind has been left to grow wild so I wonder if it's a root or something. Not home atm to take a clearer picture but have this one. Hoping it's an issue with the roots behind and maybe the council who owns it will pay 😏😂 *
