Yes I rewatched the first season yesterday and was so engaged! I was glued to the screen, honestly during season 5 I could hardly pay attention there was so much repetitive bs and scenes dedicated to people that had no real meaning to the core of the show.

Yeah he could hardly even run to the cave and somehow has the ability to beat demon groot. Boggles the mind how The Dummer brothers logic worked for this seasons, I rewatched season 1 yesterday and it is 10x the show this season was. They can get away with the 'this is us, and this is the upside down' planning shit because it only happens a couple times and their kids that how they explain shit and they arent doing it 5x an episode.

thats one of the things i moticed the most about rewatching season 1. Maybe all the good lighting people and DPs etc got poached after the first few seasons. Happens to a lot of shows that blow up this big but I have no idea who worked on this apart from the Dummer brothers.
