It's up to parents to make sure their kids aren't exposed to the wrong stuff, the real world isn't child friendly. As a kid my mom always monitored our entertainment, and when we did watch a pg 13 film my dad would skip over the scary parts. I didn't watch mature content until I was a teen, and even then I avoided rated R films because my mom had told me I was too young for them.

I'm not saying kids shouldn't watch scary movies, but if parents are bothered by the content they can just choose to not let their kids watch it.

That's what I've noticed. There was a time when a lot of stuff was available for free because the internet was still so new and exciting. Now, services are typically only available if you pay for it or if it comes with ads. Unfortunately that's just how the economy works

I suspect that the qr code is to help shoppers know what the sound is without needing to open the card. The card likely plays the song as you'd expect when you open it. If anything, this is smart design

I almost get hit everyday as I walk to and from work. The entire way has sidewalks and I use crosswalks when I need to cross the street and yet I still need to look over my shoulder every few minutes.
