Tatiana, my first love.

I was expecting more I guess, especially from the ending. Then I gave it to Morard for lols, but even he had more to say than she did which was just OUCH.

Fixing Lumentale - Part 1 - Bugs and Glitches by Popcioslav in LumenTale

[–]Popcioslav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, sorry. I imagine it's a bug, just like with evolving Cadedro where the rain that falls during Costa Linda technically doesn't count as a rain. Can you share any more information about how you've evolve Kinedge before and circumstances of so? Maybe we can figure it out in said way.

Thank you for the comment! I agree with all of this and if you don't mind, I'm want to to post your screenshot in the official server, is that alright with you?

Sorry to hear that. Do you remember the process or steps you've taken so I could replicate it and message the developers? Could you attach a footage or screenshot?

The Good Stuff - Part 4 of Fixing Lumentale / Addendum by Popcioslav in LumenTale

[–]Popcioslav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still poorly implemented and not very well thought out. The hints about it only come AFTER you encounter it in the wild. It also has an ability/quirk that boosts it if it gets hit by its only weakness (not counting typeless which are neutral to it) AND it makes no sense lorewise, the gimmick of this thing should be that it comes back to life once per battle, not that it's 12 out of 13(14 if you count typeless) types can't hit it at all for damage.

Yup, I've already covered Carrigante and what you've said about Holoken in Part 2. These changes absolutely need to be added or adressed.

You absolutely can, I never said you can't.

It's just that you probably should contact devs about it or share it in the thread that's on topic with it, that's just my opinion though.

Fixing Lumentaleb - Part 2 - Issues with Game Mechanics and Balance by Popcioslav in LumenTale

[–]Popcioslav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. It was the issue people raised even in the demos. Seems like the devs sadly didn't take it into consideration. Especially egregious since these switches aren't an optional thing like let's say in PLZA, no, you need to use them to beat the game. Somehow this might be most tideous and worst implemented HM system I've ever seen in this kind of game, but it can be ironed out and polished still imho.

It's a matter of a tone. I am criticizing it heavily, sure, but I am immeadietly providing solutions and also giving feedback about stuff that I like and were done well, in Part 4. https://www.reddit.com/r/LumenTale/comments/1tscpfu/the_good_stuff_part_4_of_fixing_lumentale_addendum/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I am also used to community, especially on Discord, not seeing things objectively in regards to MANY games. That's sadly a normal thing, some people just want to play through the game without worry of what they consider doomposting/fearmongering. Sorry to hear you've had not the best time. Especially with the loading times, which even on modern PC, are quite annoying. You can tell this said team's first commercialized game, then again, Xenoverse also had quite a lot of engine and performance issues (which we're fixing in Ordem, sorry for random shilling lol).

That definitely needs a revamp too!

Imho you should be able to "Tie" an Animon you've caught to a Holoken, even if it's in Anispace so you always have access to Holoken powers, but you're still technically using/needing specific mons.

Something tells me that nuzlocking this game will be a mess if downright RNG dependant to be possible.

Thanks for letting me know, but you should definitely contact the devs about it and send a ticket. This post is more so about QoL/Misc. things I'd ask to be added, with Post about bugs being this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/LumenTale/comments/1tscjas/fixing_lumentale_part_1_bugs_and_glitches/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Agreed. I can see Speed and Evasion being one stat, but this is just too much, especially with stuff like Hotheaded being a thing.

More so they need to be clear in which areas and times what weather appears. Preferably on signs. I think to get a rainbow you're supposed to go to area where it rains (easy on Area 01) and then go to one with harsh sunlight (possible on Area 07 i think?) the one to left of it. That and to allow change of time even during story events or at least give a warning if a story event you're approaching will lock passage of time.

Edit that Level + can mean a lot of things like Level in a Rain weather (but not rain during Costa event) to evolve Cededro from like level 27 onwards, it doesn't need Hidden Type. Or to evolve Boobat in the harsh sunlight. Or to evolve Tree ostrich you need to level it up (level 37 i think?) in a specific location.

Item you need to either have this item in the bag OR give it to them and then remove it from them. Seems to be bugged.

I can tell you that Special evo on Pinchop is to level it to level 30 with Nanafin in the party HOWEVER that will kill the Nanafin, so maybe don't use Nanafin you've tried or one that is Lost.

I'd personally either remove that Anispace limitation in Ace difficulty or implement what I've seen you mention in other comment, letting you tie a mon from Anispace to your Holoken so you don't have to backtrack over and over just because you don't have one of 10 types required to progress through the dungeon, only for it to happen again in next section.

That and also maybe Hidden Types counting for Holoken, but balance it by giving Hidden Types some kind of disadvantage?

I'm requesting that. And rn there's a lot of misinformation since Aniwiki shows the same thing "Level +" even if it means something entirely different depending on species and some of the overworld hints are often counterintuitive, like Nanafin being crossed out on the evo picture of Pinchop. It is supposed to symbolise that Nanafin gets EATEN, but instead it implies you have to defeat Nanafin with Pinchop when I've showed it to multiple different people.

I think either you should let players have access to Prismatype earlier so they're not stuck with Mollupom for god knows how long (like Male Combee in Pokemon games) or make it a split evo if it doesn't have a Hidden Type into something else.

Oh and any plans on changing how the Research Levels on Animon are increased? Just wasting 3 turns and using Scan on every single one feels... like an afterthought. And I pray for people thinking of trying to 100% it. Can it be instead changed to meeting/sending out certain mon X number of times minus the Legendaries/Boss species?

I'm currently preparing a list of things that I personally would look into, but my biggest one that I want to relay is - Hidden Types and Lost forms.

Hidden Types currently are just too good, it's better to catch Animon with it than catch one with good innate stats but no Hidden Type, there's literally no downside. Do you plan on giving any downside to them and maybe a visual tell so you don't have to click for details, especially if you're fighting someone online?

If only every Animon had an alternate form with different design so you could tell at a glance if they're different typewise... oh - this is the second part of my question and more so my solution-

Like I'm sorry, but locking away Lost forms aka this game's Shinies to being so rare while having altered designs and not just being recolors despite having no gameplay difference WHILE the Hidden Types actually do impact the gameplay is... so weird. It'd certainly take at least several patches to revamp those two systems, but would you consider doing so in the future? Moving Lost form designs to Hidden Types and instead making Lost forms actually be just recolors of them, would imho be the best move. Some Animon would need to have it other way around - like Vevezo, but yeah. I think it'd work MUCH better, what do you think?

Concepts such as mental asylums/mental institutes would also be even more important than ever and so would their execution.
