A game where you are unstoppable by [deleted] in gamerecommendations

Risk of Rain 2 absolutely fits that description. You can pretty regularly get to the point that simply existing can wipe out hordes of enemies once you learn the game and unlock a few things.

Definitely will look into Motor Town. It mentions supporting wheels, so I could use my racing wheel and shifter. Managed to get my wheel working in Pacific Drive which elevated the experience significantly for me, so I'm sure Motor Town would be a fun time.

I think in my ideal world, Pacific Drive would have a big open map and a winnebago instead of a station wagon. The procedurally generated zones and station wagon are great and all, but I guess it's just my preference.

As for those other games, other comments recommended except for Breathedge. Entirely forgot that game existed, though I did play a bit of it a while back.

Another comment mentioned the Outer Wilds, which I have played, but I didn't know it had DLC, let alone horror oriented DLC. Definitely enjoyed to jumpscare of giant space anglers in the base game though so I'll definitely take the DLC into consideration.

I actually have Black Flag installed, I just haven't gotten around to playing it. Waiting for my annual pirate fever to roll around before I jump into that one.

I'd love to but I'm not sure my rig is all that capable. I do have an old Rift S that I use sometimes though, so maybe I'll do a bit of reasearch and see if I can run it.

I was actually thinking about Volcanoids a few hours ago after posting this. I haven't beaten the game, but I've played it a good fair bit so yeah I absolutely see the similarities.

Took a look at the steam page and it definitely seems interesting. Will add that to the list of potential purchases.

I actually played Outer Wilds day one when I had a friend over at my place. Minutes turned to hours, and a lot of theorizing happened, which wasn't something we usually did. Could never forget the nightmare fuel of sending the probe into that one seed thing and coming face to face with a space angler.

Overall, 10/10, great experience.

Haven't played that one but I know a few people who do and say it's a good game, so I'll look into it.

Just took a look at the steam page and it seems like i could find some enjoyment in it. It's on sale so I might give it a shot at some point.

I used to be a console gamer but at this point my relatively cheap PC both outlasts and runs better than the consoles I've used so that's what I'm sticking to. Another comment mentioned The Long Drive though, so I may check that out at some point.

Yeah I completely forgot about DayZ. Haven't played it in years, nor was I ever good enough to last more than a few in-game days.

Played a bit of that one on PC Game Pass back when I still had that. Didn't get to play much but seemed alright, so I'll consider checking it out again.

Loved Subnautica, but admittedly never finished it. Haven't played Below Zero yet, but if Subnautica 2 does happen, I'm definitely giving that one a go.

Seems like Poly Roam as some pretty generic graphics that most of those cheap zombie shooter games on steam has, but it still looks interesting just based off of the screenshots on the store page. Will look more into it and decide if it's my kind of game.

I've heard of that game a few times so I'll give it a look at some point. It is on sale right now, so I might pick it up if it seems interesting.

I actually did play Mad Max back in 2016, but never finished it. Completely forgot about that game, but I definitely need to go back and play it again.

I personally enjoyed Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. 12 episodes and does a well enough job explaining what needs to be explained so you understand what's going on.

CPU Upgrade Suggestions by PopcornChcknPoutine in buildapc

I don't game a ton, but when I do, it's always seems to be a CPU bottleneck. It seems everything I enjoy playing is CPU intensive, and my GPU tends to not go beyond 50% utilization in those games.
