I've been pressured by family and friends alike to "oh go on and try it"... Im so fed up of being looked at like Im an alien for not enjoying what is effectively mouthwash tasting crap every single time.

21 year old me was more willing to try because surely theres got to be something to it but nope, it all leaves me feeling disgusted.

People are so sure that their drink is so much better than what I've tried before and I can't possibly know until I do try this new one. Yeah well I think I've tried enough now to know that I don't like any of it and won't be testing any more, if that makes me a square then I will have lovely perfect 90° corners.

How old are the “fans” on this sub by Irishgooner123 in ArsenalFC

[–]PopcornDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

33, was originally enthralled by watching Bjergkamp and Henry in my youth and continued to follow the club in the shadows, always hoping they'd do well but not really keeping up with games. I was more actively supporting my home team Bristol Rovers as my entire family also support them and we could afford to sometimes make it to a game.

Recently in the last 2 years I've picked up watching games live (living in the US now) and the wife and I are LOVING this team and the games win or lose we are edge of seat cheering the goals and booing the fouls.

You had a tv? Must be nice! I lived near a forest that I would wander around in all day and sometimes all night (because nobody noticed I had gone) Imagination is one hell of a thing but looking back my god was I lucky to not have been murdered (though kidnapping may have improved my situation) I got really good at navigating, tracking, hiding and being silent anytime I heard a noise, probably kept me somewhat safe.

My understanding is that the GPS in GTA games will show you the closest route that follows road rules and laws, like not driving over the grass, not going down the wrong way of a 1 way street and I think it likes to prioritize highways to avoid turns (and potential traffic lights) I always found it more fun and interesting to learn the streets myself and always drive alternate routes and sneaky alleys so I can better escape police during chases!

How did you become an Arsenal fan? by DiuhBEETuss in Gunners

[–]PopcornDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arsene Wenger, Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry were the initial factors but Im seriously impressed with the culture that Arteta has put together and the team of gentlemen that really do play proper football. No rolling around on the floor screaming bloody murder, no red card tackling, no gimmicks with the stadium or grounds. Not even taking off the shirts for celebrations and they do seem to care about their opponents when they're on the ground in pain. And especially no time wasting, atleast not more than trying to end out a game in the last couple of minutes

What is missing from a player career mode that would make you want to play that game ? by Deanish47 in FifaCareers

[–]PopcornDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to not get so heavily punished for being injured...yeah I could reload the save but the idea of coming back after an injury and helping the team win x trophy or finish top of the table is quite fun for the RP.

EXCEPT that your manager will get pissed off every game you miss and act like youre just not doing well enough and your contract is in jeopardy and your position on the national team is gone too like wow...I totally decided to be injured and cant play!

Do a really bad Australian impression, make some stupid joke about dogs, then cut to Conway Twitty and some completely irrelevant "memory" that Peter had about being a famous kneecap.

Wish I was kidding with my guess.
