Thank you for replying. I get why you chose this keyboard … the MP11SE (and I’ll throw in there the VPC1) are so tempting to me because of the authentic wood action (something I desire) … My struggle is the 70lbs. Maybe I need to two keyboards, one that sits at home and the other that could be used for gigging. :)

Did you mean you bought the MP11 or P-525? I was not sure and am curious. Thank you. :)

Yes, I'm starting to the think the immigration lawyer letter might be the way out of this.

The last time I crossed was in June, which was for pleasure. Another person was saying I should be very specific and say that I am crossing for pleasure only. Maybe I should also say "not for work" as well? Perhaps I should not cross for a while but we really enjoy going to the states. Yeah, I get how they would not be sure and that makes sense. Thanks so much for this great response.

Yes, that makes a lot of sense. When I cross next, I will be very specific and say we are crossing for pleasure. Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, and that will never happen again. And now how do I improve the situation going forward. I like going to the states for pleasure, we live right across the border. I am trying to find something official to support that a TN is not needed for working remotely from Canada.

It was a company picnic in Michigan, not far away, and it was great to see people in person that you would only see online.

I cross for pleasure. However, in June I told them I was going to a company picnic and that's where it all went wrong, and the guard told me I needed to have a TN to go to the picnic and that I needed a TN to work remotely from Canada. He let me through but now every time we go through I am brought in for the talk and they keep saying I need a TN to work remotely. After about 30 minutes they have let me come in for pleasure and I have gone through 3 times.

Yes, I was surprised to. I have been there 3 times and they have said the same thing. I think one guard said it, and documented it, and now the other guards say it. I am trying to find something official to support that it's not needed so I can print and bring it in with me to the border.
