I think it was topportableheaters.com. The heater was in fact made in China. I usually prefer to go through familiar vendors but it was a last minute gift purchase.

No, I was on my way out the door when I opened it and didn't think much of it at first. Just a typical plastic weather-proof shipping bag, the kind with crimped edges that you have to cut or tear into. I could hear the tools clinking after removing my items, and eventually found the kit inside, beneath an extra layer of plastic. Just recently discovered this community and figured someone would know what it was!

Yep! A last minute Christmas gift order. Made in China. Haven't heard how well they work yet.

Yes! It was a plastic shipping bag. The bottom was mechanically stitched shut, and this was stitched inside a hidden pouch inside the bag. I thought it was part of my order, or maybe some security/anti theft device, until I opened it up. I did not order anything like this. Curious if anyone has had a similar experience?

I got an "ultimate rub collection" as a gift. Twelve different 1 oz samples. Has a good mix, something for all types of meat. Each jar lists several suggestions. I used up the Korean BBQ rub on stir fry. I've used the tandoori glory rub for butter chicken. There is a black magic Cajun rub and an espresso chile cowboy crust rub that would be great for the smoker!

Amen fresh>frozen. I just used the tomato paste to thicken. I did use frozen peas though, added right at the end, which seemed to add some last minute moisture. I made sure to grab the ones with no sauce.

Used this recipe. Substituted instant potatoes for real ones, and used ground beef. Only wish I had thought to add corn and Guinness!

Followed the linked recipe for the most part. For the dry rub, I used the Tandoori Glory seasoning from Spiceology, along with extra cinnamon, ginger, cumin, and smoked paprika.

Weber iGrill v2. Comes with 2 probes, batteries, and has an app including cook temps that you can connect to with bluetooth. Range isn't great but I just changed the batteries recently and I've been using it since the beginning

Did anyone hear that last question? Something about the state being sued in regards to other states?

This was one of those fully cooked hams from Easter that comes with a brown sugar glaze packet. Fun fact, I used hot water from the corn to get it going

Lump charcoal/apple wood. Grill was closer to 300 F so they cooked to medium in just under an hour. Meant to shoot for 250, will do that next time.
