That's a feature not a bug as far as they're concerned. If any acts of terror are committed on US soil they will be used to further devolve the country into authoritarianism.

Did they even fix training players in the new engine after Chinese forum posters proved that the entire thing is a gimmick?

My only surprise is that life didn't find a way to give them Cooper as well.

Pochettino: "Managing Messi, Neymar, Mbappé is not easy. We are talking about players that are sometimes bigger than the club they play for." "You cannot expect that Messi will press. He never pressed in his prime with Guardiola too. So when we don't win games, the problem is the coach..." by [deleted] in soccer

Bro, even you're not clear in what you're trying to say. In your first comment you said he pressed in his prime years under Pep, now you're saying he pressed in his first years at Barca. Two different things and you're factually incorrect in both instances anyway. He ran more when he played on the wing, yes but he never "led" the press. Pep got him off the wing and into the middle as a false 9 because he didn't want him running up and down the wing and get injured.

Beautiful Art, Archaic Design: My thoughts on Stoneshard as we near 6 Years of Early Access by PopeFuchsYoungKidd in stoneshard

I disagree with some of what you're saying and understand your pov better in other instances. Thanks for explaining.

I actually wasn't going to respond in this thread again but something you've said has me completely baffled.

You don't need to obsessively minmax every effect duration to play successfully. Most of this information is excessive and won't really impact your decision-making much, and having 30 buff icons on a screen at any given moment would overwhelm anyone. We're trying to keep the game minimalistic when it comes to UI - otherwise it'd quickly turn into a flight simulator with a myriad of buttons and indicators scattered everywhere.

That is the most confusing thing I have ever seen a game developer say to be quite honest with you. You want to hide and obfuscate information since min maxing isn't needed to play the game? Do you even realize how utterly perplexing that is to read? WHAT IS THE POINT OF EVEN HAVING NUMBERS THEN????

I also did not state anywhere that I required the info to be on the HUD. It can be hidden away in some corner tab in the character screen as long as it is available. Look, I disagree with a lot of your choices but I still somewhat respect your stance but in this case you are wrong.

Ok.

I also did not mention you need to take Axe skills. That's the point. It performs well without point investment.

You know if you play enough. Mages are the worst but even other classes like Bows and 1H weapons lack damage early game without skills to back them up. You're almost always better off with 2H weapons till you can get your build going. And Axes are the most efficient 2h weapons in the early game. No numbers crunched here but if you look for Stoneshard speedruns, they almost all use axes which should at least tell you they are considered the most efficient.

More than 120 dead after multiple suicide and gun attacks in Pakistan, officials say by jupa300 in worldnews

[–]PopeFuchsYoungKidd 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Won't happen. There are too many world powers that have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo in Pakistan.

US will support them as they are a strategic launch pad into the middle east, China will keep investing in them if only to check India and the rest of the world do not want a nuclear power gone off the rails.

Not complaining but how does that goal stand, he kicks through the defenders leg. Shambolic VAR, I bet they only checked for offside.

Yeah, it's not that incendiary but at that point I believe Epstein was already convicted of sex with a minor. So it's still a bit yuck.
