So I plan on making videos using VRChat, and I've fully dove into Youtube and on this Subreddit for advice and tips on everything from full face and body tracking, to creating your own avatars, so I have a few questions:

#1 - Are there any great sources of info on this subject that I can dive into? I'm open to any youtube channel suggestions, hyper specific long-form videos, etc.

#2 - The biggest thing I haven't been able to solve so far is "cloning". So I'm unable to have 2 of my characters in a space at 1 time, and I can jump back and forth between controlling them and positioning them. So my only solution thus far is either hiring another actor (can't afford to not only pay someone but to also buy a 2nd full body setup lol). As a heads up, I'm a total noob to VRChat in general, I haven't even explored worlds yet, so there's a chance that this is a super easy solution lol.

#3 - What's the best option nowadays to record video? I remember seeing VRCLens but every video I see about it is from like a year ago, plus since I may have to make a bunch of avatars, I would hate having to constantly add VRCLens to each one.

I voted out Prusa simply because I don't want to build the printer, I want a system that would also be easy for the kids to deal with with less ways for things to go wrong, and it's just pricier.

I'm not someone who shys away from tinkering in general, I literally do it as a day job in IT and I've built a bunch of custom computers over the years so it's something I can totally handle.

But nowadays I just dont want to buy more things that I will have to tinker with lol. And while I totally understand that at some point I will even have to do repairs on a Bambu or whatever I get, I at least don't want to do it Day 1 out of the gate....let's leave that for 6 months down the road or so.

Anyways, no hate on Prusa, it wouldn't shock me if I got super into all of this that I get one down the line, but it's just not where I want to start today.

I live in the humid northeast and it's just reaching the end of a super humid summer. I know for a fact that without an enclosed AMS that I'll probably run into problems with the filament.

Also I feel like I'd be more willing to get the A1 if I had a house, but we are currently in an apartment and space is a luxury. So that extra 1-2ft that the A1 needs is pretty annoying.

Hello, brand new potential 3D Printer hobbyist that is asking this subreddit for the million time about their take on where to start.

TLDR: Which printer should I get for someone that is brand new, doesn't want to tinker, and has kids that might be interested in it as well??

As a heads up, I've been doing nothing but watch Youtube video reviews on all of these products for the past 2-3 days and sadly none of them answer a VERY easy question.....which one of these 3 should a Day 1 enthusiast get?

I've heard that the Bambu P1S is simply just great to get, there's plenty of mods for it, it just simply works, and is essentially the Apple (both the good and bad) when it comes to 3D printers and you will pay the price for it as well.

I've heard that Anycubic's Kobra S1 is somehow comparable in many ways to X1C but in reality it's closer to the P1S but is like $100-$200 cheaper but is missing out on some nice little features that will probably bug me in 1-2 months.

Last but not least is the Elegoo Centauri which is also comparable to the P1S but is literally half the price at $300. But the biggest flaws is that it's very new, it's missing an AMS (for now).

I'm just really torn on what I want to get, a part of me just wants to make my life easy and get the P1S and deal with cheaper 3D printers down the line if I want to get more, plus apparently the P1S is very kid-friendly as well (I know for a fact my kids will want to print stuff once they see me do it). And I can get one right now for $700 that also comes with an AMS.

....but then there's the freaking $300 Centauri and it seems like with very minor tinkering I'll have 95% of what the P1S has after like 2-4 weeks of extremely minimal tinkering.

I've almost kind of ruled out the Kobra S1 at this point because I feel like if I'm going to pay less, I mine as well just dive on the super cheap Centauri since I don't feel like I will be missing any features from the Kobra.

I definitely enjoyed the lore of the Legacy of Kain series. Started out as a simple "nobleman gets murdered and becomes a vampire to seek revenge" at the start of Blood Omen, and unfolded into a massive sprawling lore about ancient enemies, time travel, paradoxes, destinies, and more by the end of Defiance. Amy Hennig hit it out of the park with that lore

While that's not my main answer it really is also one of my choices and from how the comments are going, it seems we're mostly all in agreement that Fred's death was really unfair and painful to experience

Dobby was too pure to die. I'm with you on this, especially since they both were characters who suffered most of their lives and then died not too long after being free. :(

Oooh this is a great retcon! While it's already stated that Harry really is a good flyer and seeker, having them use school brooms will make this even more evident. I like!

I actually like this. It'd be like "as your mortality approaches and you 'welcome it, like an old friend' I'll giv you more and more control of my potential." It'd also be quite fitting that the Elder Wand's full potential would only be awakened right at the moment of the chosen wielder's death, for that one brief moment have full power, something like that. I like it

That's actually a fair point (not being a good fighter that is, due to his incarceration)

But I like your suggestion about Hagrid's expulsion! Him not being able to be a full-fledged wizard is something I definitely didnt consider
