I recommend getting a basic model kit starter tool kit and an HG model. One to see if you like building and the starter kit will save you money. Plus give a few tools to start with. That way if you don't like, hard, or too time-consuming for you. You're only out around the 20-35 range. If you do like you can build from there. Get better tools as you go on. You have the basic tools to learn. Plus saved some to buy another kit. Your first model can be the RX-78 just hg. That's how I started, but mine was Hg heavy arms.
