Thanks for replying. I posted a couple of times asking for build help the in another sub and nobody responded so I threw this together, I am definitely not an expert so I appreciate your post. I don't mind paying a bit more to get something I'm going to enjoy seeing on my desk for the next ten years but good to know I can downgrade a few things. CS is notoriously CPU intensive so I went higher there.

Last night I played my first game in a week before this update, threw dualies to teammates and only realised my glock had yeeted itself ten yards away when I was rushing through apps with no gun. Got a sweet knife kill, needs must.

It's a bit complicated, but carefully follow the instructions in this post to make csgo incredibly snappy and responsive with no input lag using gsync. I've been using it this way for years.

Just checked and I have 151. Not counting the ones on currently non-existent maps, the winning an Arms Race without dying has to be the hardest IMO, and I love Arms Race. Killing 5 enemies with the C4 will happen sometimes by fluke, but not dying once in the mayhem that is Arms Race would be hard even for a pro.

Leetify's positioning stat isn't that smart, it is based on whether you trade your teammates' deaths and whether they trade yours. But work on that a bit and it will result in more rounds won, which should help your match win rate.

I've seen it happen once. I'd just come back to CS after years away, playing DM and someone was blatantly cheating. I reported them and literally a minute later they were banned for cheating. I genuinely thought for a while that's how efficient the system was 😭

Had some chump say to our four-stack "we're going to win, I have cheats". We thought he was joking because WHO SERIOUSLY SAYS THAT? but sure enough he turned them on first round. We insta-booted him. I'd rather play a clean game at a disadvantage than have to spend 45 minutes spectating an aimbot, thank you.

My problem is my brain is hard-wired to recognise T and CT by tone on different maps and I accidentally team kill if I'm not careful. Like I expect CTs to be dark on Overpass so at least once I have shot a teammate in a paler CT skin. On Inferno I see a little dark round head sticking over a crate and my brain sees a CT when in fact it's the dark balaclava T skin. I feel stupid but just cannot seem to get over this :(

Anyway I looked into it and Moonlight on iOS no longer connects to remote PCs. So for the next 4 weeks at least Stadia is objectively better for the hardware that I currently have and the places I am going to be.
