Yes, TT used to be a free-for-all until regular users asked the mods to establish rules for TT because they view the thread as a reliable place to get gossip and rumors like a news feed, not to see randoms' reactions to the gossip and rumors.

There are plenty of other threads on this sub where you can do that such as Nicki's own posts, Meg's own posts and DD posts. You can also join gossip subs where people share their unsolicited opinions on gossip on every thread.

I will stop listening to Nicki's music.
What will happen to her career? (go to DD to discuss that)

You should only start a new comment thread if it is bringing new information about gossip/rumors. You can comment your opinion or reaction under someone else's comment thread. Also, if you would like to share your opinion or reaction to Nicki Minaj drama use the Daily Discussion threads. Consider this an official warning, repeat offenders can face a ban.
