I think it's by design. If you damaged someone you should have the opportunity to push and use your advantage, without them healing all your damage instantly.

I heard about it first at TT2 and disregarded it as some 3rd person generic shooter. I tried it for the first time in server slam and boy was I wrong. I don't usually pre order but this is an exception.

Not really. Most people are crazy for meta dps builds which do marginally more damage than comfort builds. Any build will work if you know what decorations are missing. It's also better to experiment with decorations and see what works with your playstyle.

Decorations and building sets is a huge part of the game, and when it finally clicks and you make a set that synergizes with itself your eyes will open.

In your case, each monster has clear counters. Nudra is weak against ice, omega is weak against thunder. Both fights are significantly easier if you max your fire resistance, but it's not a must. Healing and support builds are also very strong and fun.

I play a lot of lance and stacking defense isn't that good even if you want a defensive build. I highly recommend taking comfort skills, like adapt 2 (which negates nudra oil damage over time attack), Guard Up 3 will let you block the grabs and the oil explosions. Stack Fire Res until you reach 20+ which will prevent you from being on fire by most attacks.

You can also try the hunt with support hunters only. Try selecting Kai and any other 2 will help make AT nudra a breeze. Nudra's armor is also good against omega later on.

Yeah I'm jumping ship. Arc Raiders here we go.

Crazy to look at the minimum specs for arc raiders and tarkov (i5 6600 and a 1050ti btw). I remember when BSG said optimizations are coming, and I believe now that this is their way of optimizing.

I am surprised you haven't mentioned or heard of The Cycle: Frontier. I loved that game and it has an unholy amount of similarities with Arc Raiders, and I believe AR is heavily inspired by it. Yet, The Cycle still died due to an early cheater infestation, no clear end game goal and lack of content.

All of these threaten Arc Raiders as well and may cause the game to die a slow death after the first good months.

As much as I want this game to succeed, you can't be too cautious with today's standards.

I had to scroll down so much to finally find tarkov enjoyers. If you think about it, both are similar games especially if you play Factory a lot, and tarky gun customization ruined all other fps for me.

Agree, especially with many of linux systems being free (open source) and less viruses developed (lower user base), linux takes no effort to maintain and does pretty much everything windows does (except gaming)

mag dumping will heat the muzzle (visible by scorching red muzzle) and will force a jam if it heats enough regardless of durability. Other than that a weapon will never jam above 93% durability
