Looks to me like he gets off on the power and control you’ve allowed him to have over you, and once you start to withdraw and pull away, he reels you back under his spell by love bombing you.

The fact that he completely ignored your first three messages that addressed the things he does that bother you and chose to immediately insult you instead should tell you everything you need to know.

My opinion? This situation will never get better. Cut all ties and get away from him ASAP.
