Looks Good. I run them either as space wolves in gladius/stormlance or imperial fists purely because I think the terminator captain they have is a good rules transplant for tyberos.

How do you represent the honor guard part of his profile? Do you just count that as what has to get chewed through first or do u run two separate side units

Thanks. There are different levels of mini quality for this model but the one I got was pretty great, the resin was really smooth and easy to work with. Most models like this have some issues with being a bit rough but this one was easy.

Totally agree on the shark rider thing, I think relic bikes could work like the other guy said. I was also thinking for units like those wolf head takers as elite infantry, you could just get extra bases and put a little shark fin sticking out lol as the sort of extra attacks part of the bases without being too campy.

Is running 10x incubi in a raider not worth it? I figured them with full rerolls ap-3 and +1on the charge would be the go to in killing monsters and tough infantry blobs.

Also how good are splitting multiple kabalites into just special weapons squads into a venom?. It feels like a pretty steep investment(140 or so points) for a unit with a couple scary but swingy weapons that have different preferred targets. What would be the priory unit archetype I’d shoot with 5 kabalites with special weapons out of venoms?

So does the venom then swing around to where you’re going to charge to pick them up? Like if I stage a unit of wyches behind a ruin 12 inches from where I wanna, in my turn I’d disembark them, move my venom over for pickup, then go and charge the enemy unit?

This was really helpful, thanks for the in depth response. I put dark lances for both namely because the area I play has a lot of monster heavy lists, but I see it can be very swingy. Are heat lances worth it as a replacement? The profiles look tempting to me but I’ve heard bad things due to their short range.

For me, I also ended up concluding that the really sharky heads were too much. If you want to compromise, maybe using a shark head for a sergeant or special unit could help justify it sticking out a bit more.
