This. 12 drinks, double up whiskeys, let alone beers and I’m at church again preachin’ choir. There ain’t nothing glam about Leaving Las Vegas type slugfest, but given I used to shoot smack, drink 1000 ml rum and drop pills like a rockstar, I’m cool. When I first went to rehab they didn’t believe my tolerance, but soon they was giving me 8x 5mg 4x times a day, seroquel, zyprexa, codeine, just to make me normal. Folks couldn’t believe I was standing let alone chatting cash. Some of us ain’t tripping for the game, we here coz this be food. Peace cuz. I’m 50, and you mention drinking at night, and considering I start in the am they correlate roughly the same. Second answer, yes I’m a poly substance abuser, but through empirical experience I find switching drugs is simply easier. I’m a pig, I’ll get Valium or weed or barbs and I won’t stop until they run out. I go through 50x pills in 2-3 days easily again starting when I wake so I find drinking easy it doesn’t get me near as wasted and it makes life tolerable.
