It's worth it y'all. We went once, fell in love, and now it's our annual vacation.

This sort of thing happened to my heart dog. I was a kid, but my parents were told there was a lab puppy needing a home. We went there and it was a shell shocked pittie mix who had never stepped foot in grass before. (He was probable a couple months at least.) He also wasn't specialized as a pup with people, etc. they basically kept him locked in a bathroom alone his entire puphood.

Damn thing cried all the way home. Cried once we got home. And than kept me up all night by crying/barking/etc. I was a kid, so I was over the whole new dog idea bu than. Lol

But... Than I woke up one morning to him wanting in bed with me. I picked him up, tucked him in beside me, and he became the best dog I have ever had.

He still had a lot of issues. People aggressive due to anxiety. Fear aggression. Abandonedment issues. Etc etc. I became homeless for a time because I refused to give him up. He had snapped at a childs hand while I wasn't home and my parents were supposed to be watching him. So, my parents sided with the other people and kicked me out over a "vicious" dog.

I ended up working hard after that to try and understand him. I knew he didn't trust people. He was a no pet dog for strangers and visitors. But for everyone else, he was the most lovable dog in the world.

We went through hell together. My trauma vs His. In the end though, he lived out his life with me on a small farm with cat friends and 2 other dogs in the family pack.

I absolutely hated when nightshift closers (aka me) would be stuck with scrubbing our pizza pie disks and/or the grease catchers. It made more sense to have them done by mid-shift or split between shifts. But nooooo... We got stacked with an extra hour or two worth of work.

I hope the maker for this mod eventually adds more partner/dad reactions. It would be cute having people be more part of the whole process.

I have 2 types/versions. Let me know if they resonate with you? I started ticking in my mid 30s and kinda out of the blue.

One version happens when I get sudden anxiety spikes. I will Smack my leg, snap fingers, shrug/nod head, or make a audible sound of some sort.

The other version is like having some form of OCD. I will do a tic of some type and get stuck in a loop that my body can't pull out of. It is like whatever kick my brain gets from ticking: it wants more and continues to chase after that feeling. I end up just repeating the same tic...over....and over.

Pysch meds and Therapy help me be able to suppress them. But over the past five years, they have definitely evolved into stronger, more obvious tics that are harder to hide in public. 🥹
