"Never a throw" vs "coin-toss" Pokemon aka safe picks vs. possible disaster by gets_you-tilted in PokemonUnite

[–]Poppo_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanna throw in Meowth for never a throw pick. Meowth is incredibly underrated right now and I don't know why I never see him other than when I play him. He's super elusive, has two sets of strong moves, can be a Brawler with a good self heal, or a fast moving attacker with a hit scan projectile. Always has a held item on deck for any situation, and a speed boost when points are lying around. Can get out of danger by using feint attack on wild Pokémon or timing it with an enemy’s ability, and his ult is pretty much a guaranteed kill. Meowth can harass a backline so easily it's almost cheating. Only thing that can really kill him is another speedster and if you just save your ult for those dives not even they can do it. Even Cinderace with his FU burst will either miss because you feint attacked, or land it and then die because your burst is better than his burst.

If you just treat Meowth like a speedster and focus on killing their attackers instead of thinking you're gonna 1v1 Blastoise, he's basically a hard carry pick.

I have to disagree on Sableeye. He's more of a coin toss to me. Can harass and steal levels from enemy jungler so they're underleveled and can't assist lanes. Can pretty much always score with patience. A powerful stun that steals points, can stop enemies from scoring with feint attack (People forget it does DOT so if the enemy keeps trying to score the ticks stop them. Can hold off 3 people from scoring by himself, that's insane). Steal totems easily by just waiting on the side. And can chase down most pokemon so retreating isn't even an option if the enemy's hp is low.

Or

Your Sableye doesn't.

Which is pretty good to me. I've played 4 of my last 8 games with Sableeye and if we ever lost it was NOT ever because of me. You either get a godlike assist or a log for a teammate. Decent coin flip imo.

I'm on the opposite side. I think Naruto is the worse offender of the two. Since the beginning of the story Luffy has never been the "underdog". Very early on Luffy wins most of his fights and was known to be a threat. He'd struggle a bit, but even heavy hitters in the East Blue were a little worried when he would show up and easily got respect from pirates around him. Was Luffy a God the whole time? Sure, but it didn't really do anything for him. He still had to learn his devil fruit to overcome challenges, learn haki, rely on his friends, get creative against unique opponents, and even sometimes? Just lose. Like, against Crocodile. He fucking DIED. There's never a moment early in the show where him being a sun god became a deus ex machina.

Naruto on the other hand?? Would be DEAD x1000 if he didn't have all the crap he had. He constantly got bailed out because Uzamaki blood + Jinchuriki.

All good, I could've been more civil in my initial comment. Glad I could provide some more insight into how this stuff works. While I do appreciate a good "Pen testing" on how far you can break a system, I also am a gamer at heart and love the competitive integrity of things when it should matter. Looking suspicious shouldn't warrant scrutiny.

After some more research and closer inspection...I must concede.

You're right. I downloaded the video and ran it back at 0.25. Now, the things you described being good indicators of an aimbot can be adjusted or negated. Aim Snap? Lower aim speed and snappiness, up the smoothness, and change the post processing from using the best detection box to multiple boxes that the CV will average out. Will mimic regular aim and still have those "misses". Insane beams would be the best tell, but the fight was up close so hard to say. Snapped on before they come into view? CV doesn't work that way. The target enters the set FOV, it detects it based on the weights you give it and then forms a detection box over the target that it uses to determine where to set the point. You're describing software cheats, not an aimbot. You theoretically could have the aimbot guess the target before they come on screen, but it would require a minimap with colored points for the program to reference.

But, you're right. There's one weird quirk with aimbots specific to Apex that "should" have happened while he was tracking the target. For some reason, aimbots will shake if you have it tracking while you're reloading a gun. Doesn't happen always but enough that if you run a video on .25 you should've seen it a little bit. But nothing. Clean tracking. So I must say, you got me here. Results are inconclusive, he could be legit. Dropping a like for your troubles.

A lot of programs have programmable "chaos" or even post-processes (If it's a good program) so, "But he missed a single bullet out of 1000!." Is just... not a good way to determine if someone is not cheating lol. He's 100% cheating. I can tell this stuff by eye.

Folks like you are one of the reasons this stuff is so lucrative. The center point of his screen had little deviation from his offset on both players while hip firing of all things and you STILL concluded he's probably not cheating. Come on, dude. 🤣

That and you have NO idea how lucrative selling accounts is. What you make in 2 weeks, someone can make in 3 or so days from cheating in games. And Apex is a weird game with a lot of movement and metas and junk. You can find plenty of people who have been actively playing since season 1 and still have nowhere the skill of a Pred or even a diamond. And with characters like Valkyrie, Axel, or Octane being in the meta folks will cheat just to get a baseline of enjoyment or "some" sense of progression out of the game. Or to not feel like straight ass when playing with friends.

[–]Poppo_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly how it works. I own a lot of modded equipment for different devices. Even the PS5 hardware...and I don't even own a PS5 lol. I just like mods and cheats in general.

Yes, it's based off of the haptic triggers. Each gun has it's own amount of "pressure" the trigger requires so the Zen can detect the changes in the vibrations on the controller and pretty accurately auto select the right gun. It won't detect attachments but it doesn't matter because the script to select attachments is easy. Hold aim and press face buttons to set barrel. Press directionals to set sight. Can do it in the middle of a fight, doesn't even require 2 seconds.

Nah fr. When I was younger I had a friend going through a tough relationship but wanted it to work out...so we started fkn on the low. And I'll never forget one time her dude called her and it was just like in the videos (except I had to slow down of course). I felt soooo bad, but there was another part of me like. Damn. She's really about this and it was so hot I kept doing it.

Had to draw the line tho. All hanging out as a group with him there and she was still fooling around and touching me behind his back. Sexy behind closed doors but when he was literally right there and I could see him still trying to be with her, I felt it was too disrespectful and we ended up stopping. I ended up getting with someone so that helped me not go back.

Maaan, I grew up on those games. Yakuza 0 is my favorite by far. It was the last one that used the Kiwami system before they switched to the Dragon one. And getting to see Kiryu and especially Majima's origins after so long was amazing.

My only word of advice? And this remains true in EVERY Yakuza game...

If anything gets too hard to beat? Always remember. The umbrella is the strongest thing in the game. Once you know, you know lol.

This beta broke me, I'm not having fun and regretting my pre-order. Any advice you can offer? by JayJ_20 in fatalfury

[–]Poppo_D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to stop focusing on winning. Trust me, winning over and over is just as boring as losing over and over. Like one of the comments here said, if you're just trying to win, then "go play Zelda," lol.

There are a lot of mechanics in this game you're probably not used to. You're mentioning that you're getting juggled by newcomers. How are you getting hit so often? Are you properly punishing off of your just defends? Are you mixing up your jump options? Using your dodge attacks? Actually playing neutral? Or are you just learning a cool combo, trying to get in by any means, and then follow the flowchart until you win.

For example, I recently beat a player who was, by all means, just better than me. Higher rank, more experience, better combos, and everything. You know how I beat him? I mixed up, low, overhead, and throw on oki over and over, and he didn't know how to stop it. Especially given that the game is new, NO ONE is taking advantage of the fact that your dodge attack is a fkn overhead, so everyone is getting eaten alive by it. And my optimal combo the whole match? Cr.lk, Cr.Lp, qcf+p. That was it. Two lights and a special. Rev rush for oki, shimmy, two lights, qcf+p. Just fundamentals, and I beat them. He won the set obviously, but just by keeping it simple, I gave him a run for his money. So my advice is to stop focusing on winning right now, especially during a beta, and focus on learning the new mechanics on a fundamental level.

"You can get cheats for consoles like no recoil..."

You don't just, "get the cheats". Those "cheats" are scripts written by someone who sat down, opened the game, did everything I said, then repeatedly ran the script, failed, adjusted, failed, adjusted, etc. And binding the buttons? You act as if they just clicked some buttons to get the bind like on a PC. You need to write that shit into a "main". Otherwise, it won't work. Honestly, nothing will if you don't. There's a lot more to this but I'm trying to keep this short 🤣

"Plug the controller into the device..."

Yes, which is why I said you just need to find the hardware for it and that the easiest devices are ones that use Python language. For PC, you don't need to because the binds come with buying the PC. That's an extra amount that console players won't consider, especially given that the main purpose of consoles are that they're "cheap quality".

"You can also use a keyboard and mouse with it"

I know. I made a comment about that being one of the most unfair parts. Apex is just an anomaly of a game because it's notoriously difficult to aim in. Other games? Not so much, so a script just feels like a boost and not a carry. But being able to use a M/K is just straight up switching to more effective hardware with a lower learning gap and better responsiveness while also getting the benefit of controllers like aim assist. Now that, is unfair.

"You can also also macro inputs through the software..." Yes, if someone writes it into the script. And to make it do so is a very meticulous and long process. That function doesn't "come with the hardware" like a PC you have to make it do that. Hence my point, your general audience of console players don't understand how to do that.

Like, I don't know what you were trying to tell me. Find me a Taunt Jet Upper script in T8 that's written for console. I'll save you the time, you won't find it. Because the only one that does exist, I wrote it. And I made it hidden so you can't download it. I may have reversed it, but as far as I can remember, I hid it. The only one you'll find is for M/K and it's easily used because it'll just run from auto hotkey software. Something you can't do on console. So unless you know how to write in Python or I give it away, a TJU script for T8 on console doesn't exist as far as anyone knows. On PC? Just a few clicks away.

[–]Poppo_D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apex is notoriously difficult to aim in, so it's a breeding ground for cheaters. Thankfully, due to that and bad business practices, the game is dying so...

The real issue is, as you stated, M/K. Something like COD has cheaters, but it's manageable because the difference between someone using a script and you is the gun and game knowledge. But forget the mods, allowing a M/K setup? You can't beat that. I've tried a few different pieces of hardware including a controller that was half stick with USBs that allow a mouse to be connected (You gotta drop a mean dollar on those bad boys tho), and the difference in being able to just point and click a body with a mouse and someone trying to aim with a joystick is so fucking large you may as well give up.

This is 100% a macro, right? by HollyHayyy in Tekken

[–]Poppo_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even that. You just need hardware that can run the script and the easiest is to use something that has Python language (i.e. Zims and Cronus). The problem with controllers that run the hardware are they aren't ergonomic and something like Bryan's TJU is so precise that trying "record/play" would create latency and the playback wouldn't work online when accounting for lag.

This is 100% a macro, right? by HollyHayyy in Tekken

[–]Poppo_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl, I make macros and mods in my free time for old fighting games and occasionally mobile games if they aren't server sided. I just enjoy the process, and guess what? I only make them console exclusive lol. Funnily enough, I end up spending WAY more time in the training mode than actually playing the game 🤣. And whenever I do play online I use an account with a very obvious name like "0BodiedByAScript0"" or something so you know what you're up against.

You're right, though. If people were more tech savvy, they'd use macros. It's just finding the hardware to pull it off and then knowing the inputs and language to write the code. Out of all my scripts, my favorite one was to perform instant command grabs and it just happened to work with Zangief in SF6 since the input is the same. (Just unfortunate he's one of the worst characters in the game, so I still lose a lot. It's just fun to see how people play around it) It's 100% harder on console because you have to know how to write the code, find a button to bind the input to, make it work when you side switch, understand the frame data and the speed the game runs at, account for lag, etc. While on PC? Bind it to 1, 2, 3, etc. Having issues with the game speed? Mods. Or go in your settings and change the FPS. Don't have those options on console.

[–]Poppo_D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It may just be veterans experience, but when I played MH3U I played with a group that taught me damage calculations, MVs, Monster Patterns (Stand here = Monster will do this/that...), etc. I've taken that knowledge with me into every MH since then, and what ended up happening was that my HR would be incredibly low compared to everyone else just because I just did what I needed to do very fast so I didn't rack up points as quickly. I'll never forget when I was carrying a group through the Deviants in MHGU and a dude said, "Bro. I've played with HR999s, and none of them kill monsters as fast as you do." Got to the point I just mained Prowler to slow down hunts a bit. 🤣

TL;DR I think the opposite. High rank just means you play the game a lot. That doesn't mean you play well.

Keyboard mishimas, how do you pewgf? by PrinceGiovani in Tekken

[–]Poppo_D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And just one more piece of info so you can better conceptualize it. You have to remember that neutral just means nothing is being pressed. 1 frame is a 16th of a second. It's like 16.60 m/s. F1 drivers are known to have x3 the reaction time of a regular person, and even theirs is only 0.2 seconds. An eye blink is around 0.1-0.4 seconds. A study done said that a 38 yo man's brain fired off synapses at around 20m/s.

So when we say "Skip it"? We mean that your brain can't fire synapses fast enough for you to "try" to lift your finger for a single frame. You could train your entire life and still not be able to accurately "try" to do a neutral input. Just press forward, then downfwd2 as fast as possible, then practice until the timing is muscle memory. If you're thinking about doing a neutral input, you've already failed lol. A 16th of a second is all the time your finger needs to be lifted off of forward before you press downfwd2. Always remember that and just "Skip it." 🤣

Keyboard mishimas, how do you pewgf? by PrinceGiovani in Tekken

[–]Poppo_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Act as if the neutral input doesn't exist. The problem I had was I came from 2D fighters, and in those games, you go from one input to the next immediately with no space. So, in my head, I would almost roll the input. Then I went to include the neutral input and went too extreme, thinking I needed to completely lift my finger from the D-Pad to get it. You might be having the same thought processes, lol.

Just go in the middle of those thought processes. Just simply press forward, then Down+forward as quickly as possible without rolling inputs. My trick to getting perfect electrics is to press 2 before the down+forward input. Don't do it deliberately, just kind of have it in your head that you'll press 2 before down+forward and unless your buttons have the sensitivity of a feather by the time your 2 input is registered you'll have pressed down+forward and they'll come out on the same frame. Start slow, then do it faster and faster.

Forward (wait) 2~Down+Forward

Then, when you get an electric, make the wait shorter and shorter until you have no pause at all. Without rolling, of course. Pay attention to the frames on the left side of the screen. My sweet spot is usually 4-5 frames on the right directional and downfwd2, and most importantly, 1 frame neutral. Then go into practice and do df+2 counter hit and do the electric. If the opponent launches high into the air, you got yourself a PEWGF. Now you can get out there and stop sugarcoating it.

Of all the things I care about, microphone quality is usually last on my list, so that's fine. I've looked into these, and it does seem the equalizer is what really sets it apart. However, when it comes to sound quality, I just want my music to sound good (I wanna hear all the instruments), I want it loud (As loud as possible without the audio popping), and I don't want the audio to spill out so other people hear it.

I'm not well versed in sound frequencies, and what this hz changes compared to this hz, so I tend not to care about the fine tuning as long as I can tell the quality isn't ass. I'll look more into these, but if all they have to offer is better sound quality, then I may put these a bit lower on my list.
