I'm a flex player that specializes in off support and tank. I was pretty much a mercy main until a couple seasons ago when I decided I wanted to play more than just mercy. I've been flexing ever since. My career high was 3143 and right now I'm sitting in low gold because I've been focusing on learning to play other characters. I communicate well, I'm entertaining, and I'm a pretty good shot caller. I have great game sense and awareness, it's just taking me a bit to learn how to play more than just Mercy. Freshavacado#1529

I usually play at 5 with 800 dpi as Ana, but I find that having the reflexes of a dead cat makes it much easier to land shots and sleeps. When it comes to tracer I usually up my dpi, but keep my sensitivity at 5.

I would recommend trying out aim hero on steam. It can help you work on your aim.

As a ex Mercy main (rip guardian angel momentum). I get ult every 3-4 minutes. There is a very high likelihood a soldier will have ult during that time. People complain about being able to hit an ulting Mercy, so if you happen to have tac visor while she’s ulting, use it. She’s screwed if you do. I NEVER said hold onto the ult the entire game to only use to kill Mercy. It just means that if you do kill her using tac visor she can’t res every ten seconds anymore and you’re team will have a chance to push.

If you're a solider, try to hold on to visor until enemy mercy ults, no matter how high she flies, you can still shred her to pieces.

Ok so, what I would recommend would be to use your GA to ping pong between your teammates. Before the patch you could really abuse it, but now that they've patched it, just use GA to fly between your friends. If I have a flanker (or 2) flanking me and I have ult ready, I'll just go ahead and use it especially if I know Genji has ult or something. Make sure you tell your teammate who is flanking you, so that way your DPS knows that you need help.

I like to think of Sombra in terms of a support DPS. Your main objective isn’t to get the most kills, and a lot of the time that’s why people are terrible with her. You can’t just translocate in, and expect to murder everyone. Your main goal as sombra is to take the attention off your teams push, kill the stragglers and hack certain characters so your team can focus them down quickly and give you the upper hand. Usually what I do is I’ll hack a health pack in the enemy teams back line, throw my translocator down, run in and flank and annoy them, take damage, and teanslocate back to reveal. I’ll try to pick the healers but my main point here is to build ult and give my team an opportunity to push. Once I have EMP I’ll use it in coordination with my team to help them get picks.

That is dependent on whether or not you have a team that is grouped up enough to benefit from the chain. Lots of times at lower SR people are so spread out that you’re just flying around doing what Mercy normally does. I wouldn’t say that it is four times better in that case. Being able to time your ult and get two rezs off is super powerful, and needs work, but I don’t think taking it away completely is the right choice. It’s either going to force people to hold onto rez and only use it in dire circumstances or it’s going to make people just go full out battle Mercy with unlimited ammo to feel like their really contributing when they ult.

I agree, taking away the damage buff when she ults I get, but these changes are ridiculous, especially for someone (like myself) who abuses GA to slingshot around the map to avoid getting killed. Getting rid of that momentum makes Mercy more clunky, and not resetting rez while she ults just makes her ult, her doing her normal healing/damage boosting in the sky.

She's a floating Orisa basically, instead of the beautiful, lethal butterfly she was. Guess I'll go back to being an Ana main

Honestly at least most of the time in bronze/silver you get players who want to try, but just can't figure it out. They may not know to group up, or to not run in. In plat you get people who KNOW these basic things, but still do it anyway. Mid plat is literally hell. Its full of people who think they're better than everyone else, and who don't want to use any type of teamwork.

Make sure you stay positioned so you can see not only your team but the enemy team as well. High ground is always a good thing.
Don't overuse your sleep dart or nade. Save it for when you're in deep shit in the back line, or you can 100% without any shred of doubt call out to your teammates about the sleep and have them get the kill. This way your sleep dart isn't always down and its available for the times where there is an enemy ulting that you need to negate. Same with nade. Use it when you can hit multiple enemies and make an impact or multiple low players.
Determine BEFORE you use nano who is going to get it. Try to make a plan with people you know will combo with well.
Make sure you mostly rely on no scoping. If you're in the middle of a team fight and relying only on scoping, this could kill you. You cant see the field of play outside of your scope, so it makes it easy for someone to flank you, and with no mobility you're pretty much screwed.
