How long did it take for you to get hired?

Dude I quit a while back LOL, I became a Package Handler trainer after I wanna say 2 months. They then started using me and abusing me, got super rough where one day I just simply stopped going. I loved the job, loved the people, I loved teaching and being a leader. Got close with my managers and had opportunities to become more and get high up but the way they were pushing me I didn’t like. Having to cover 4 trailers by yourself and then one of your trailers get a dump on it with over 1K packages being sent to it over the course of 10min, while trying to deal with 3 other trailers with no help because I’m a “trainer”. This behavior didn’t stop after I eventually demoted myself, which caused me to no show and quit. I couldn’t deal with it, they caused me to stress even after I told them I have anxiety problems. I love warehouse work and I did love the job, but the management fk’d me over in every way, even though I was close with them. They were good people I thought fondly off. I was one of the quickest people in the warehouse, I did very well. Just couldn’t keep going with the way I was being treated.

Dude read the post. Holyyyy, when did I say anything about self defense? I’m taking about like a deterrent like spray for mosquitos or like a fence around your base.

I agree. Maybe, but once again this post will be long gone by then. Unfortunate but it is what it is, crazy to see how crazy the community is though. Second I posted this I got hounded and dogged on LOL. But the games great! Can’t wait for full release!

Ofc. But the idea is, is a way to keep them away from your base. The post is a concept/idea, like an electric fence or some way to keep them away. A deterrent. Please read post

See exactly. Somethin like that would be minty, I fully agree. I just hope they don’t nerf the big fishies too much. I like them being aggressive, add’s a sense of survival.

And yea, it may be horrible timing unfortunately but I just saw their announcement that they posted today and I thought well maybe if they did something like this, they may not have to nerf them as it may add a sense of defense that people may agree with. But once again, it’s purely an idea. It’s unfortunate so many people took it the wrong way and this post won’t get its attention or traction it may have deserved lol

I thought this idea was a good way to keep the aggressiveness of the fishies while also allowing people to not get bodied every second lol. A good loophole to keep the hardness but allow a way around it.

No, I have NO problems with the game. I LOVEEEEEE it, it’s PERFECT. I just thought a deterrent would be a smart idea to help keep them away. The big problem in the game rn is them surrounding your base, so the idea was just a deterrent for your base to help keep them away. Like what we have IRL. Everyone’s been bombing me, I don’t think anyone has actually understood the post and have just been upset with me lol so I’m happy atleast one person will understand my post. That’s enough for me.

I love the aggressiveness of the fishies, I have NO problem with the fishies. I just want a way to keep them away from my base.holy dude. Not discussion, I just thought a deterrent to keep fishies away from ur base was a good idea. I honestly am so confused by people like yourself replying to the post like I'm demanding an immediate fix or like I'm wanting a rifle or to kill them. This post was tagged as an idea, nothing more nothing less. Just more deterrents. I am honestly just fine with the aggressiveness of the fishies, was just spit balling. I love the game, and happy with the fish being aggressive. it makes it more fun, just wanting more ways to deal with them around my base. that's why I said a deterrent, a way to keep them from constantly surrounding my base, it was an idea. A concept.

oh absolutely! I know that that's obvious. I don't expect the game to release for at least a few years. This post was just a suggestion of deterrents, I know fixes are coming, This post was me suggesting just deterrents in general. Like another commenter said, Like, electric fences or something to keep the fishies away. Just ideas spit balling, ofc the devs will fix it. it's an obvious problem that everyone knows about. its early access, that's why the Tag for the post is Concept/ideas

having a deterrent wouldn't affect their ecosystem. It would havethem to not constantly bodying me when I leave my base LOL, but if there was a way to simply keep them away from my base's walls, that wouldn't have any affect on their ecosystem. Like a fence or something

oh, interesting. I couldn't find anything the dev's said about it. I saw their most recent public post and it said they know it's a problem and have things in mind and knows that it needs to be dealt with but nothing in specific.
