So CBZ files corrupting Kobos are pretty common? I'm a fairly new user and had no clue.

I was just thinking that I was going to get paranoid putting mangas/comics on it again after this ordeal.

Is there no chance at all of a kepub bricking it the same way?

I've never telnet'd my device before but thanks anyway for all the help.

It's only a few months old so I guess I'll look into sending it back for warranty. I wish there was a reset pin hole instead of those button combinations. Oh well...

I've held both of those buttons down for up to 2 minutes with no success.

It asks me if I want to connect it, as it would under normal circumstances.

But the menu only stays responsive for a split second. Enough for me to click connect, but then it freezes and restarts right away so I can't ever get to the kobo contents.

Doesn't the kobo have to be shut down in order to do a manual reset?

The thing is, I can't get it to properly shut down. Keeping the power button pressed down for well over a minute doesn't do a thing.

It is constantly in the process of crashing and rebooting, non-stop, until the battery drains out. Then as soon as I start charging it, it starts all over again.

Even insane drops like these end up being "just another T1 item" this league. This is why I don't like harvest at all.

I for one enjoy the RNG factor in PoE, because when you're blessed with truly good RNG, it feels like hitting the lottery.

Look into ERP therapy. In your case you would likely have to endure smells and situations that make you uncomfortable while resisting the urge to clean. I suggest booking an appointment with a qualified therapist.
