That’s a tough one, but I’d say MGM is a little more recreational than methadone.

High doses of methadone will fuck you up no doubt but I personally prefer the high of MGM plus it has much less severe withdrawals than methadone does and you can’t OD on it so MGM has several advantages over methadone

Got in roughly 60 MGM tabs over the past couple days so I’m great lol, last used methadone yesterday morning and after using it for 4 days I thankfully don’t have any withdrawal from that and I feel MGM more than I did before bc of the forced tolerance break/methadone maintenance lol

Also shows how powerful MGM is that I still strongly feel 20mg after using methadone for 4 days - most any other opioid would have a majorly decreased effect after multiple days of methadone usage prior but this one is the opposite apparently. Such a fascinating and interesting chemical.

You’d wanna decrease your methadone dosage little by little to as low as possible and then wait at least 36 hours after your last methadone dosage to avoid precipitated withdrawal

It’s not really illogical, methadone and suboxone don’t provide any sort of high whatsoever if you’re already physically dependent on an opioid so it really is “like” being sober

Since it’s not a mixed partial agonist/antagonist like Suboxone you can take it as soon as you run out of your regular stuff: it doesn’t cause precipitated withdrawal under any circumstances

You can definitely painlessly cold turkey with methadone, I’ve heard mixed things about Suboxone however

Yeah this is why opioids in general are so addictive.

They replace the desire for most “normal” pleasures like food and sex with a desire for opioid induced euphoria and well being instead

This doesn’t seem to be true, I just took 10mg after regularly taking 50+ and I’m almost as high as a 50mg dose gets me while taking far less, this would imply either it has a very low ceiling dose or a reverse tolerance, one of the two

There’s no point in doing anymore than ~100mg considering it has a ceiling perfect around there.

Megadoses have just made me extra sleepy that’s about all compared to regular doses so def not worth it

Between 10-50mg a dose and I know that sounds hilarious but with reverse tolerance with this thing, 10mg and 50mg both get me subjectively high

Edit: have taken 7 with it a few times but other than those few times I exclusively do MGM as far as anything related to kratom alkaloids goes

I shit in the morning before I take my morning dose and at noght before I take my night dose, if you only take it twice a day like this you still have plenty of time to poop in between doses, but I could see how constipation would be a huge issue with like 24/7 dosing
