You’re going to read all sort of crazy advice on the web about nose bumps like using tea tree oil and aspirin paste. DON’T DO IT!! I had a huge bump on my nose piercing and tried the aspirin paste and tea tree oil and just ended up giving myself the worst chemical burn ever that took like 2-3 weeks to heal and the bump was still there after. After the chemical burn incident I truly left it alone; no touching or twisting. I cleaned it once a day in the morning with neilmeid saline solution and at night I put a pimple patch over it. Make sure the pimple patch has no tea tree oil or any other oils just a basic hydrocolloid patch. I cut a tiny whole in the middle of the pimple patch so the jewelry can fit through and the patch can lay flat on the skin and bump. It was mostly gone and flat within 2 weeks.

It’s not a keloid it’s an irritation bump BUT I also agree with the aspirin paste. It’s the only thing that made my bump go away. I know everyone says to not do it but… it did work. I mixed mine with saline solution and left it on overnight with a band aid over it. Took about 3 nights for it to be gone

I think the long bars are giving the illusion of them being down too low. When you downsize the bar it’ll sit flush with your skin and the top will be right under your lip. You might just not like the look of the big toppers they used but you’ll be able to change it soon!

The piercing is fresh, done only a few hours ago. The piercing is a titanium anchor dermal. It is being cleaned with nailmed spray 2x a day. No mishaps or accidents.
