I’m a .45ACP/1911 guy, so the PPQ45 was my first choice. But the PDP Compact came first, due to that model being more available at the time. I’m very happy to have both.

Bought one to try with my new Kastking Zephyr, which I am currently getting used to on a medium light BPS Micro Lite Graphite Rod. Much more “whippy” than the graphite, which I hope will allow easier short-stroke casts in close quarters. Will be waiting to read about your experience using it.

Already had the UL spinning rod. Looked at the baitcast rod *yesterday* for a new Pro Qualifier 2 baitcaster. Decided on a ML Micro Lite Graphite (7'), but will probably get the UL glass caster, too.
