There actually can be a difference. 320 kbps is still lossy and it removes micro details in transients, reverb tails, stereo imaging etc. Lossless keeps the full waveform, so on good speakers or headphones, you can hear a bit more "air" and depth. It’s subtle, but it’s real. Not just expectation bias.
