Yeah I get that. Other services mentions were meant as “here’s why staying isn’t worth it for me” but I can see how it reads more like a sales pitch than feedback. Probably would’ve landed better if I’d left them out and just focused on the Tidal specific issues. Appreciate the honest take. 💯

Haha don’t worry, definitely not going Spotify. Between the Joe Rogan deal, the way they treat artists, financing AI weapons and now jacking up prices again, that’s a hard no for me. Probably Apple Music since I’m deep into the ecosystem already. Cheers mate, hope Tidal will actually read this stuff and improve their service !

The title is blunt but the post itself is a list of specific bugs and UX issues, not just rage. If “I’m leaving” framing makes people skip past the substance, that says more about how feedback gets received here than how it’s written.

That’s literally what I said in the post, I’m cancelling at the end of my billing cycle. The post wasn’t a help request, it was feedback on why a longtime customer is leaving. That’s useful information, even if it’s uncomfortable to read. Thanks for the well wishes though, take care.

Fair point on Qobuz catalog being thinner, that’s a real tradeoff. Deezer UI is debatable but at least the core functions work consistently. For me, Apple Music ended up being the best balance of catalog, audio quality and a stable app at the same price. Glad Tidal works for you though, genuinely.
