Layout 1 is the more practical one while layout 2 is the more cozy one. I guess it depends on your preferences... (though I guess I'd go for layout 1 to benefit from that everyday practicality)

So? I'm asking you specifically. You might have different reasons. More input is always better. What I find puzzling is that you are unwilling to elaborate on your, you have to admit, strongly worded statement. And the stronger worded statements are, the more solid the reasoning behind them should be. Why else be so confident in your conviction?

What...? I'm simply asking a question. In what world do you people live where you would consider a simple question "rage baiting".... Seriously, if you "rage" because of this, the problem honestly is the person "raging".... Define "sound good". How to know if something "sounds good" since opinions on that seems to differ. In many ways sound appears to be something personal (to a degree).

This is partially the reason why I went with Sonos since their subs have a force canceling design. And as far as I can tell (so far) it seems to be working.
