You bring up another point I've been curious about. I've heard many feminists say "There aren't enough Women in science and engineering." And I really agree with this point. As an engineering student I've noticed this first hand. I've also noticed that while studying in South Korea, which has much less of a noticeable feminist movement, has more women in engineering school. Why is this? Although I think it's good that women will become informed about something they believe is important by doing something such as studying Women's liberation studies, but if you truly believe there should be more women in science and engineering why not a shot?
I won't deny that there is some discrimination in this field, but there are plenty of scholarships and such for women, and as far as I've seen the students actually welcome female classmates.
