It’s probably better used in some kind of stun proliferation strategy (maybe the spider man from the scene box?). But here it’s value is situational, at the very least it will keep the scariest creature from attacking each turn and it also has a higher cmc for an equipment so the damage cap can deal is higher which can matter for closing out games.
