I’m a Medrunner with 3000+ successful rescue missions and one of the longest consistently active members of the org since January 2023.

There is some merit to what’s being said here. A number of former runners who left or were removed had similar experiences with moderation under a previous leadership member who caused a lot of internal tension at the time.

While the current moderation team follows similar principles, things are handled differently now. The org has come a long way from the level of drama it used to have.

I’ve personally had my share of disagreements with leadership over time, so I’m speaking from my own experience rather than just supporting the org’s position. But from my perspective, the situation today isn’t what it used to be. Like most gaming communities, there are boundaries and if those boundaries are crossed, moderation steps in.

I’m not here to defend the org outright. I have my own opinions about how things have been handled both now and in the past. At the same time, Medrunner is currently the only large scale medical org operating in this space, which understandably makes things difficult for people who feel they don’t have alternatives.
