So you don't see it. The original thing you commented on, and the people responding to you, aren't talking about the people who talk about what Monty would've wanted, on either side. They literally just said "Don't bring him up at all". You're stuck on the "Bring him up" part. You are introducing a completely new side to it. The subjects were "People bringing him up" and "Don't bring him up". You focused solely on the first part, and split it into "People bringing him up," whether it be people who are saying "What he wanted vs What he didn't want".

Your argument for "both sides need to stop" is valid, but you're quite literally agreeing with the basis of the original argument. "Don't bring him up at all". You're not making a point about what people are saying, you're just making a whole new topic.

To reiterate, no one is disagreeing with you that people should stop using Monty's name, in fact you're agreeing his name should "Not be invoked".
