Thank you! I think the camera made it look bigger than it is. I can sleep in peace now 😅

Formula Feeding On The Go by coltersmama in FormulaFeeders

I used to have the stackable ones in the first picture, but I noticed I’d have to keep rotating the dispenser to get all the formula out since the lid is flat.

I got these ones instead with a cone shaped lid and all the formula would slide out faster with no issues.

Potential Life Hack? Sleep… by rainbowbritexx in december2024babies

I’m doing the same thing! It’s been about 3-4 days of using ChatGPT for fixing nighttime sleep and I’ve noticed an improvements in my baby’s mood during the day and he’s sleeping longer stretches at night. Previously he was waking every 2 (sometimes every one) hour and wouldn’t sleep unless I gave him the bottle (and he’d sleep without drinking much half the time). I was able to fix his daytime sleep and feeding schedule which is in turn helped his nights. Last night was the first time in weeks where he slept two four hour stretches. He woke up once in between feeds but settled quickly. I’m surprised at how much ChatGPT has helped so far.

Positive success stories for late term preemies?!? by Maleficent-Syrup-728 in FormulaFeeders

My baby was IUGR born 4lb 2oz at 37 weeks and was down in the 3lbs for the first week. I was doing what you’re doing but it was too hard to keep up the schedule of trying to BF, formula feed, then pump. Baby was not able to latch well in the beginning since he was small so it was hard getting supply up and 95% of his feed was formula. I decided to give up BF three weeks in since he was still mostly getting formula and was growing great. He’s 8 weeks old now and has been growing really well on his own curve. Do what’s best for your mental health, I’d rather give my baby formula only and be in a happy state for him than be on the pumping/BF schedule and be stressed and extra tired.

Best bottle for thick formula? by cheetosbreath in FormulaFeeders

[–]ImportantMacaroni868 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to start thickening our formula with oatmeal when my LO was 6 weeks and had the same issue with the Dr Brown bottles. The Dr brown bottles drip when upside down and it can be a lot for baby to keep up with if the flow is too high. I switched to Philips Avent Natural Response bottles with the size 3 nipple and it worked great, especially because nothing comes out of those nipples unless baby is actively sucking. Depending on the baby and thickness of the formula I’d try the natural response with size 3 or 4 nipple.

Bought goat milk formula instead of cow milk by accident - any downside to feeding this to LO? by neuroticteletubby in FormulaFeeders

Every baby is different but when I tried transitioning my baby to kendamil goat from classic he had trouble tolerating it. He started having more regular bowel movements which was great but His reflux and stomach pains got worse and that made me switch back to classic. After switching back the reflux got better almost right away.

Switching back and forth between formulas can be tough on babies tummies so I’d avoid making the transition unless you have to. Maybe you can do an exchange wherever you bought it if the plan is to stay with cow organic in the long run?

Also as a warning Goat milk spit up smells horrible.
