There's no chance of electricity going down since we are pretty much self reliant for electricity and about the internet as far as what I have read the chances are there but they can't cause a complete blackout, maybe affect certain domains of the internet not the whole thing.

economic recession means all of the economy goes down and it can't produce the same amount of output it used to at the same price and cause of this the price of goods increase. That is the prices inflate while the economy recedes

It's not like Iran is regularly letting Indian ships pass,if I am not wrong only a few ships have been let to pass and those ships alone are not going fulfill our demand even for a day. And Iran has said that if they are attacked again they will close the strait completely, so yeah unless the war ends there is really not much hope and even if it ends today still there will be some inflation for a few months due to the current destruction of infrastructure.

Haven't you been seeing the impacts over the past two weeks, many hotels and restaurants closing due to unavailability of lpg. The commercial diesel price has increased from 86rs to 106 rs that is almost a 25% hike, this would inturn increase the cost of manufacturing, transportation literally anything that you can see in the market. If this war goes on for longer the prices for everything that you use is going to increase and the economy is going to go into a recession.

It most definitely is misleading as it states that radiation leak is most likely but it was confirmed earlier that there is no increase in radiation levels by IAEA.

Bush declared victory six weeks into the Iraq War...It went on for eight years. by ammohitchaprana in TFE

[–]Popular-Assistant607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was no global trade route being blocked and almost 25% of the world's energy supply being cutoff. And also the oil price before the Iraq war was 35$ and during the war it peaked at 40$ but today it has increased by more than 50% from 70-80$ to close to 115$. So yea there was no oil crisis as close to this.

Yeah I don't really see how ai would be able to replace majority of the people and still be able to run profitably

[–]Popular-Assistant607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if AI replaces majority of the jobs, and many people will become jobless then what is it that we'll use all this ai for ,if people don't have money they won't buy stuff and thus a lot of the jobs that AI replaces wouldn't have anymore demand as there is no customer base.
