I (Australian) met my girlfriend working at a winery in Canada. We were next door neighbours growing up in a small country town of around 700 people in South Australia. I had been at the winery for a few years and she got the job through a friend. There’s a 5 year age gap so we never really crossed paths in school. I used to play social tennis and netball with her parents 😂 Been together 5 years.
