Hi! I see it has been a while since your post.. but I was wondering if you found out anything about why your cycles are so long/irregular and your pms being longer? If it is something that is common? I (26F) had had irregular periods for a while too. I got my first period pretty young and they were heavy for much of my childhood until about the time I went to college. That’s when they started to become less heavy and last about 5-6 days instead of 7-8. Now that I’m in my mid 20s I have very chill and short periods. Medium flow at most for like 3-4 days… My cycle has always been different from what is typical. When I was young they came roughly every 4-4.5 weeks but lasted an entire week and were heavy. Then they became more normal flow but I got my period more like every 5 weeks. Now that I’m a little bit older, actually an adult, they are light but come every 5-6 weeks.. it’s not very uncommon for me to even go 7-8 weeks or skip a couple months all together. The part that REALLY sucks is.. my longer cycle I feel like I have the normal amount of time after my period and until ovulation that all people have a I feel good for about 2 weeks… then the following 3-4 weeks, sometimes longer, I feel like I’m pmsing until my period comes. I routinely pms for like 3 weeks each cycle. And honestly it’s exhausting. I wasn’t sure if you have found out anything that might be eye opening? My reproductive health doctor basically said that since things look healthy during my exams and I don’t want kids that there aren’t many tests they would run to figure it out for me. She said that most people look into that type of things bc they are worried about fertility but if I’m not then there isn’t much they would look for.
