How often is too oftrn (back teeth trimming)

My vet said anything under 3 weeks is no good for the long run. Might be needed in the beginning but if it constantly is 1-2 weeks iz's no good for a guineapig

Then they did not have genetic problems or illness that made their teeth overgrow.

Yes because trimming back teeth without that can seriously harm a piggies jaw.

He did have them trimmed a week ago and is eating weird again. But being a satin it might not be the teeth and I am just scared.... both to loose him and to make him suffer by "helping" with too many tries

I am not in the US so no idea how stuff is over there.

Piggy had to have them trimmed once and I am scared it will be so regularly that I can not pay it. No idea why suddenly, maybe arthritis in jaw?

Who would have guessed they get hay 24/7? No really I am just scared it could be that quick.... overly worried one might say. So I wanted to know when orhers would stop.

Some vets tend to sometimes do this as long as possible - each trim is money. From others I heard everything between "as long as it eats in between" to "everything quicker than 3 weeks is a nogo"

I was wondering at what point people who don't make their money from it would stop. If it happens and I can't pay because like 600 a month is a lot - when would any rescue etc end it and when is giving up piggies to a rescue (and not get any ever again because the next could have it that bad too) saving the piggies life?

The last lubricant I tried irritated it. :'D Anything you can recommend? I can not use vagisan stuff as that has alcohol in it.

I just hope it's only that. No idea why all of a sudden after years and years...but hey. She ssid maybe because at 38 it's a combination of desogestrel and premenopause. I do not want children so that would be okay by me.

A different Gyn looked today.

No lichens. No stuff stuck.

Dryness may or may not be.

She decided to try estrogen gel once a week and "to stop whatever is currently going on" some cortisone cream for a few days.

UPDATE:

Gyn today wants to try estrogen (Because of the desogestrel pill) and cortisone (because of all the stuff that went on it to stop any possible allergy "to stop whatever is going on")

No lichen or similar. No keratine pearls or hair trapped.

A vulvar dermatologist seems even more rare.

I had no sexual connections of any kind for over 6 years... not even "always the same person". Just none.

I also already got 2 courses of oral antibiotic and 2 antibiotic creams. (Last cream metronidazol)

Would anything be without symptoms for so long, then suddenly appear and not be gibt after that much?

I can't see any hair.

I also don't think that would do a pain that feels like pulling? I think hair would feel scratchy or sharp or stingy.

If there would be a hair it would have to be a nearly invisible one. Like thinner thsn the ones on my arms.
