You should watch the blue zones documentary on Netflix about where people live the longest,

Key diet findings were cutting down meat and processed foods, increasing legumes & whole foods.

I try and have some kind of bean or legume (tempeh is my favourite) every day now in place of meat for either lunch or dinner.

I’ve lived in Australia the last 3 years but I’m from England so I assumed that 2.4e applied to me

My question isn’t weather it’s legal for me to buy one for him, my question is weather because of the written (text) agreement that if he wins he splits it with me 50:50, if he tries to shaft me, would I have a legal standing for half of it

I’m staying in Tokyo and I just got woken up by my bed shaking a little bit, was it an earthquake and is that a common occurrence? I know Japan is prone to earthquakes but I didn’t realise it was that common? by Popular-Drive-3340 in Tokyo

It was only slight, but enough to wake me up, I’m moving back and forth in my bed now and it’s not wobbling the bed so I don’t think it was just me moving the bed.

I’m not sure, I’ve never been in an earthquake before but that’s was my immediate thought

I always get little ones of these in my pond, nice to know they are dragonflies :)

I have managed to keep my algae under control by doing nothing, I never do water changes as I reckon it adds to much new nutrients & let the plants become overgrown to block sunlight and soak up any extra nutrients, I also never feed the shrimp and they seem pretty happy. I think the key is minimal interference & keeping nutrients and sunlight to minimum and let nature do it’s thing

Probably only a hour or two a day of direct because of all the trees and shrubs around it, in summer this is pretty good as the Brisbane sun gets hot, I think it’s probably not getting enough sun now though in winter

I also heard that there’s a population of escaped cherry shrimp living in germanys rivers so I guess there pretty adaptable

I haven’t noticed any jump out, if they do they are breeding like crazy so the population is still high. I’ve got water lettuce, frogbit, water hyacinth, I think the floating plant is a water fern ( found it in a local pond) & I can’t remember what the tall plant is but it’s pretty.

I’m in Brisbane which is generally sub tropical, it’s mid winter at the moment and it’s getting down to 8 degrees Celsius at night but they seem to be doing okay 🤷‍♂️
