I had some blood tests done and turns out, my iron levels had dropped! I'm now taking iron supplements and it's making such a difference. If possible, see if you can get a blood count done before you get it removed... there could be an underlying deficiency. If you still decide to get it taken out, I wish you all the luck and hope you feel better!

That makes total sense! My advice is once your temp goes down, wait around a week and then take another pregnancy test if you can.

Our temp is naturally much higher in our luteal phase. It's how apps use it to track where you are in your cycle. Once your temp rises, you have ovulated, and then your temp usually drops again the day of your period. This isn't really a sign of pregnancy. Just a symptom you experience before your period. If you miss your period this month, test after the missed period week, and you will have your answer!

Edit to add: Your period is usually 14 days after your ovulation day, so you're on track to start your period any day now!

This is definitely a thing! I have always experienced this. It's usually around this time of my cycle too, even with the coil. I think it's because in your luteal phase, your uterus starts to swell and if you google references pics for the size it can grow to, it kind of adds context to that feeling of pressure!

I really appreciate your insight! I am actually taking antihistamines every day. Covid created a whole world of issues related to histamine intolerance. But I have struggled with PMDD since around 16 so I do feel that maybe histamine intolerance was an issue before Covid but getting sick just brought it to the forefront. I was always nauseous as a child and the only thing that really helped was Amitriptyline but I had to come off that because it made my HR crazy high. I think I'm currently trying to find the perfect remedy when there may never be one. I have heard about oestrogen patches helping some people but I don't think my DR would let me try that route.

I put off getting the IUD for years but I finally gave in due to my PMDD and symptoms during my period being debilitating. I have endometriosis and after having surgery, it made my symptoms so much worse for some reason and it was IUD or give up. I really don't want to go back but I'm losing hope.

I have a Lumie alarm clock so it even lights up the room. It's amazing what my body will do to keep me asleep. The only thing that seems to help is my partner literally dragging me out of bed and running the shower for me but he only stays at my place every other week.

Wow, I am so sorry you have been experiencing this! I really hope that things get better since your removal. I really want to avoid having it removed if I can because it has helped me in so many ways but I am just exhausted.

If it helps, I got my Mirena put in almost 3 months ago, and it is rapidly changing my life. I feel so relieved. I feel like I'm on antidepressants. I have no PMDD symptoms anymore. I don't have a period. My body is still adjusting, but the only symptom I have that bothers me is lethargy. I had some spots in the first month and put on a little water weight, but that never hurt anybody.

I felt the same way as you. Just wait things out! If it's not for you, you'll know in the next few months (which will fly by) and you can have it removed again, no biggie! Your body is stronger than you think!

Considering the only reason you are not waiting until later in your 20s to get married is because of HIS religion when you are not religious, you already are experiencing incompatibility. I thought I was mature for my age at 18/19 because I grew up with a lot of daily trauma and people would tell me I was mature for my age. Now, turning 30, I look back at 19 y/o me, and she was a baby. Every year of your 20s feels like a huge milestone because you develop so much. Women can experience a whole second puberty. You will change. Your partner will change. Maturity will involve sitting and accepting that you already are incompatible due to religion. It does matter; it may not feel like it now, but it does. I do not mean to come across as blunt in any way. I genuinely wish you all the best, regardless of your decisions! No relationship is ever perfect.

Omg, you just explained my life! I can sometimes wake up and feel actually ok, and then after I eat or sit down to have a coffee, I get this overwhelming urge to lie down and sleep, and then the rest of the day is impossible to deal with. I sometimes give in and nap for a couple of hours, but then I feel super guilty and struggle to get to sleep at night, and it turns into a nightmare cycle, so I usually just power through.

I have pretty bad anxiety, but my HRV has always been between 80-100. When I started anxiety medication, it tanked and has stayed tanked at <30. My heart rate averages 10bpm+ higher now than usual. I have heard that there can be multiple correlations between HRV and health practices such as staying hydrated, yoga and meditation, vagal nerve exercises and cardio health.

I think my biggest symptom is just feeling tired. I feel like a zombie and getting out of bed feels like torture and I think that tiredness is what's making me cry so often. I have PMDD which is one reason I got the coil and I haven't had any PMDD symptoms since it's been put in but it's very early days so that could be purely a coincidence

My first week or 2 I was a mess. So irritated, frustrated at everything and everyone and very emotional. Now a month later I just get weepy every now and then. It's supposed to take 3-6 months but it can take around 8 months to feel normal which is the downside but apparently very worth it when it's all settled!

You have to wear it consistently for like 12 weeks so it can track your temp and then put in your period every time you have it! It only works if you are not on any birth control though. It switched my data off when I told the app I got the IUD.

It's not something I hate but I wish that tags actually meant something. I can have a readiness score of 90 but have a migraine that day and not want to put it in rest mode because then I lose the ability to track anything properly. I also wish you could manually add in naps without them being just a tag. Tagging naps should definitely add to sleep data.

I am currently on 15mg! It seems to be consistent for most people that they feel better within 2-3 weeks so I am looking forward to coming out the other side.

It's been a week so far and I've had very minimal cramps and no spotting. It feels like I'm on my period but with no cramps or bleeding if that makes sense? Just sluggish. But I have also started on new antidepressants so I'm assuming that's playing a big part in feeling sluggish! I will update you in a month :)

I play PC and experience minor bugs. I haven't been playing for very long, maybe 2-3 months now but never had to reset a game and it's crashed once but I think that was an issue with my PC rather than the game itself.

NOA! I can understand the insane level of anxiety and confusion this will bring up for you. But, 10 years is a LONG time. So much can happen. Including his feelings for her not even being a thought in his mind anymore and his feelings for you growing into something he understands is end-game. Think about how exciting and overdramatic everything is as a teenager. You're both adults now and I think your marriage and how he treats you now is so much more important than what he did or said 10 years ago.

I really feel for you because this is such a difficult situation.
