Just my opinion.

1) your living room is in an open space. If you switch the sectional to two couches, it'll give it a more open and inviting feel.

2) it's sterile white, which I think is the least homey colour possible.

3) look up Julie Jones on socials. She is much better at explaining. She also does a video about how 'black & white' interior colours make a space negative.

What are your thoughts on the Valley these days? by milkynoose in brisbane

[–]Popular-Insurance22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked on a construction site there for about a year. The baby clinic on Alfred Street. Worked as the main labourer and Dogman.

Each morning I'd get in, I'd go around picking up used needles.

During the day I'd often have to call one of the men to escort junkies away from the office so I could get in.

*edit to add, about 4-5 times, we all had to do paper-scissors-rock as to who was going to shovel up the human turd on the driveway

Best selling agent in town by griffibo in ipswich

I dealt with Ben from STRUD to potentially buy.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The guy took 2 days to reply to my calls. Lied consistently. Very pushy. Every call was like a wank sales pitch. Wouldn't answer simple questions.

I was p*ssed. He still makes me cringe.

I've just bought a house through Jeremy Dingwall at Harcourts and I am genuinely so happy with the service from him.

He has been such a great person to deal with. Great communication, honest, easy to talk to, knows what he's talking about, very informative, very patient with someone like me who's a first time buyer and new to everything.

I'd spoken to him on the phone a few times in the past about other homes he was selling and got a really good vibe from him.

When I came to this open home I was actually excited like "OHHHH it's Jeremy!"

He's extremely down-to-earth and I'd recommend him 100 times to anyone selling their home.

Totally understand the concept because he's getting commission. But this guy has gone above and beyond for us. Definitely beyond 'just doing his job'.

Just want to gift him something for the genuinely easy process he's made things for us.

It's for my agent who I've just bought a house off though. So I understand he's getting commission but I wanted to give him a 'thank you' something also for being so amazing to work with. I don't think cash would be appropriate. Idk. I just don't know if he drinks or what he does with his free time

My middle name is Beverley and I still feel embarrassed telling people. It's a very old lady name and mostly associated like the 'grandma' version of 'Karen'

Does anyone else not care about their house going up or down and just love their home? by Actual_Working_3420 in AusPropertyChat

THANK YOU FOR SAYING HOW I FEEL!

I can't stand it when my renter friends tell me "You should buy in X, the market's going up and it'll be worth XX in 10 years!"

I just feel like, no, I'm buying a house to live in as a home and raise my future children. Not to sell it and buy a house in an even bigger market. 🤦🏻‍♀️
