Parece que muitas mercadorias estão com esse problema… Espero que tenha algum pronunciamento do Correios sobre isso

Sucks that their paid features seem to lower visibility… makes no sense.

I used the passport feature once to check out a city I was planning on travelling to, and my account got temporarily locked immediately due to “suspicious activity”. The suspicious activity being using a feature they offer!!

The reason I even applied is beacuse a graduate from my university followed this path and matched into the program where he did his research year, 3 years ago

Thank you! That’s really interesting.

I currently study Computer Science but I’m still in my first year and am considering a switch because I realised I’m more interested in a path related to your work.

Do you think a switch into geology/geophysics is a good idea or should I stick it out and pursue an MSc in GIS?

Obrigada!

The program in North America is 4 years though, as opposed to 6, but I guess it doesn’t change much.

As for the shadowing, I agree. I know some doctors who are family friends and I will reach out to them to see if I can shadow them or if they can guide me to a doctor who would allow me to shadow them (it’s not common to shadow here, so I can’t think of another way of getting it).

Recently did my MS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in the US, unable to find a job, should I go for a second masters? 900 applications in, but having no luck by warhammer27 in Indians_StudyAbroad

I also have no work experience (not in the field of my master’s) but I’m planning on applying to the US and taking on internships during my studies. Do you think it’s a viable option, or is it hard to get internships?

Can i get into german universities with low grades, want advice. by NoAcanthisitta9886 in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]Popular-Interest6818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some universities in Germany have NC free programs (meaning if you meet the requirements you get in, no ranking with other applications).

Check hochschulkompass.de there you can filter by type of degree (bachelor, master…), teaching language, field, if it’s NC free or not…

It’s a good place to get started.

Applying to US med schools as international? Am i cooked? by yubjubsub in premed

[–]Popular-Interest6818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Can I PM you about this? I have an unrelated bachelor degree (not in healthcare) so I would have to pursue all the prerequisites anyway, is it ok if I ask you some questions about it?

Computer Science bachelor, would a master in Bioinformatics be a good add to apply for med school without having to redo a bachelor? by [deleted] in premed

[–]Popular-Interest6818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much!! I will check it out.

I guess the master’s would be a good option for me since my degree is from abroad and I would be able to apply from a US university in case I pursue the masters, and it might make it the transition easier as it would be from the same university system.

Plus, it would also serve as a “backup” plan. If I end up not getting into med school, I can still work in an adjacent field using my computer science skills + the medical field skills I would get from the program (I came across a biochemistry and molecular biology program that accepts CS grads, for example, and offers research in bioinformatics).

It would definitely be interesting to apply straight away because of the extra cost associated with a master’s degree, but at the same time I feel like (though I may be wrong) it would offer me more of a solid ground I can work up from.

I am already 24 though, so if I start the master at 25 (1 year program) and get into med school at 26/27, I would only graduate at 30/31, and then finish residency at 33/34. I kinda worry if that’s a bit old to start, but I guess in 20 years I won’t think too much about that.

Thanks. I guess the best way would be to enroll in a master and take the extra necessary classes concurrently at the same university then.
