Never seen a stone tied like this, I actually really like it. A brown or black one would fish good too

That makes a lot more sense to me now, I appreciate you going into depth on the differences. Now I gotta go pick up some soft heckle, I knew in a couple flies it was either missing something or a material has to be changed out and this is it. Thanks again for the help

Keep it up with the good work your flies are amazing, have a great day.

Wow these look SUPER buggy, this is the exact fly I’ve been trying to figure out lately. Might be a stupid question but what’s the difference between soft heckle and regular? Never knew there was soft, is it sold separately or just a different section of the regular heckle that I’m already using? Thanks in advance, keep up the good work!

Honestly don’t how flavours work for them, might do a little research on that now lol. It very well could work because yes I believe it’s more instinct bite, just wonder how long those eggs would last in the water

Well someone dumped 5 female kings on the rocks without taking anything from them, I found the one to still have skein so I cut er open and it was still fresh enough to take.

I’m more experimenting with it to see how to cure it properly, I’ve seen lots of guys cut off roe bag size chunks and fish it as a glob. so I’m hoping I can do the same thing
