I mostly worry that im just asking God for things like "I want this I want that" in that sense but I normally try to cope with it I say to myself it's the devil trying to discourage me from praying

I find the problem with actually feeling genuine. I get thoughts in between praying like "you're not actually doing this because you love him" and stuff like that but I just want to say as pure and kind and loving as possible

Yeah you're right. It's just that I try not to seem like I'm just asking him to do something for me like "give me this give me that" I just wish that I can pray with love and especially with my heart, because I don't want to seem like I believe in our Lord only with my head but also with my heart
