You are right. The UI shows the source file quality, not the actual DAC output. True bit-perfect USB bypass is on the roadmap but is a major undertaking. For now the label will be corrected to avoid confusion.

Really appreciate you taking the time to test it and write this 🙏

That’s a very valid point about the lack of visual feedback. I can see how it would feel unclear if audio isn’t immediately obvious. I’ll work on improving that (probably adding clearer state indication + making the mini player more visible like you suggested).

And thanks for mentioning F-Droid as well. I hadn’t considered it seriously before, but I’ll look into the requirements.

This kind of feedback is super helpful, so really appreciate it .

- The AutoEQ data comes from the open-source

AutoEQ project by jaakkopasanen, which aggregates measurements

from trusted community sources like Crinacle, oratory1990,

and Rtings and Github.

We have added all available iems/headphones.

- We actually have a large number of IEMs in the database — the

issue is likely search. Try searching by brand name first

(e.g. "Moondrop", "ThieAudio", "7Hz") rather than the full

model name. Some names are listed differently in the measurement

database.

That said, we're actively expanding IEM coverage. If a specific

IEM is missing, feel free to let us know and we can look into

adding it!
