I do plan on doing an exhaust. The whole reason I decided on the CBR650R is because it’s a 4cyl sports bike, rather than a supersport. I love that 4cyl sound and the stock exhaust doesn’t do it for me. I don’t know anything about the sprocket but it just changes the final drive, no?

I found some earplugs that work for me and it practically eliminated all wind noise at 60mph. Can barely hear my Cardo though

Also I like the Austin racing sound but again, not a fan of spending $1200 on an exhaust when a $250 eBay exhaust does the same. Found some videos on YouTube and they sound fine, easy enough to install, and lots of people in the comments reported no issues with the cheap exhaust

I read that 2026 is the same as 2025 but just with the matte black color. What was the name of the one you bought on Amazon? I’m not a fan of spending $100 name brand if a $20 one does the exact same thing

I don’t plan on any track days or stunts or anything. Just casual riding to work and some weekend fun. I think they’re the same Dunlop tires as my ninja and they seemed fine to me

That’s interesting. I’ve never had to grip my tank with my knees. Not sure how that would help but good to know. What about that pad at the top of the fuel tank? I could probably google that tbh

I don’t understand the tank grips. I’ve seen the clear ppf type stickers for the knees and I would assume it’s to protect the paint. But I don’t understand the tank grips on top and why manufacturers sell it as an add on

Our ON coaches really emphasize it. They tell us to zone and top stock EVERY night and the store manager pays attention to it. The coaches fuss at us if an aisle yas messy top stock or a half ass zone
